আরাফার দিন রোজা রাখা: আবু কাতাদাহ রা. হতে বর্ণিত, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লামকে আরাফার দিনের রোজা রাখা সম্পর্কে জিজ্ঞাসা করা হলে তিনি বলেন,

«احتسب على الله أن يكفر السنة التي قبله والسنة التي بعده » .]...رواه مسلم [

আমি আল্লাহর কাছে আশাবাদী, ইহা পূর্ববর্তী এক বছর ও পরবর্তী এক বছররে গুনাহর কাফফারা হবে।[10]
