আর এই গানের সবচেয়ে সুন্দর লাইনগুলো হচ্ছে,

হারানো স্মৃতি বেদনাতে
একাকার করে মন রাখতে নেই।
ওরা আসবে চুপি চুপি,
কেউ যেন ভুল করে গেয়ো না’কো মন ভাঙ্গা গান।

সবক’টা জানালা খুলে দাও না-

এই গানটা যখন বাজে, তখন অদ্ভুত অনুভূতি হয়।

আমাদের বিজয়, এই বিজয়ের দিনে একটাই চাওয়া আমাদের কোন বিজয় যাতে বেহাত নাহয়। যে বিজয়ে অনুপস্থিত ছিলাম সেটা যেমন, যে বিজয়ে উপস্থিত ছিলাম সেটাও। কোন শাসক গোষ্ঠী যাতে বিজয়ের ইতিহাস আর বিকৃত না করে।

আগে ভাবতাম দেশ থেকে পালালেই বোধহয় বাঁচি, এই ছয় হাজার মাইল থেকে এড়ানো যায়, উপেক্ষা কি করা যায়?

দেশটাইতো আমার।
