🐉 The “dragon” in your life may not be the problem itself…
It may be your fear of facing it.
Most people do one of two things when life gets hard:
They either ignore the pain
or fight it with panic, anger, and exhaustion.
But this proverb offers a different kind of wisdom:
> “If you ignore the dragon, it will eat you.
If you confront the dragon, it will overpower you.
If you ride the dragon, you will take advantage of its might and power.”
The dragon can be: — your anxiety
— your heartbreak
— your trauma
— your insecurities
— your failures
— your overwhelming responsibilities
Ignoring them doesn’t make them disappear.
And attacking them recklessly can drain you completely.
But learning to understand them…
to work with your pain instead of against it…
that changes everything.
Sometimes the thing that almost destroyed you
becomes the very thing that teaches you resilience, discipline, wisdom, and strength.
Your fear can sharpen you.
Your loneliness can deepen you.
Your struggles can transform you.
The goal isn’t to pretend the dragon doesn’t exist.
The goal is to stop letting it control your life.
🐉 Some dragons are meant to be defeated.
Others are meant to be mastered.
✨ Growth begins the moment you stop running from yourself.
What’s one “dragon” you’re currently learning to ride instead of fear?
