‘Fosholer Chikitsha’ is a transformative mobile application designed to empower farmers with instant crop disease diagnosis and treatment solutions. Developed under the guidance of Md Dula Miah and Prof. Dr. Syed Akhter Hossain, the app was created by Md Abdullah Al Maruf, Al Hasan Sony and Mominul Islam Ayan, three young innovators dedicated to improving agricultural practices. This free app, available on the Google Play Store, leverages technology to address challenges such as pests, diseases, and climate impacts, ensuring better yields and reduced losses for farmers.
Supported by the Department of Agricultural Extension, Khamarbari, the app combines practical solutions with future-ready technology, including advanced image processing for accurate crop diagnosis. With its user-friendly interface and science-backed recommendations, ‘Fosholer Chikitsha’ stands as a pioneering initiative in digital agriculture.
