I got to Ondo State ( Sunshine State ) after a long and stressful journey.
I had to break my journey into two, stopping at Anambra State and continuing the next morning.
I boarded a bus that was heading for Ekiti State, stopped at Owo.
Picked a bike that dropped me at Ikare junction, I was able to get a vehicle that took me to my uncles house from where he went to drop me at Nysc Camp.
I entered to register and I met a lady that told me that the portal had closed. Ofcourse I didn't accept that.
I later found out that the information was false.
I was able to do my biometrics and headed to get a room. I entered a room and the first question my soon to be roommates asked was if I loved women.
I was puzzled and I said it depends because I didn't know the angle they were coming from.
I found out in a bit that they wanted to be sure that as a man I was attracted to women and not men like myself.
I went back to finish up my clearance, got my kits and wrote my name in the book of life at the same day which came as a surprise to them.
I simple told them I was favoured in other words, I get backing.
That was how my journey in camp began with favour
Moral lesson:
Favour is an advantage to the favoured. It bestows speed.
