I am a Nigerian, and I believe I can become whatever God has destined me to be right here in my homeland. It is all about mindset. We are living in the 21st century, an era driven by innovation and artificial intelligence.
I am a patriotic citizen of Nigeria and an advocate for good governance, justice, equity, and fairness.
I do not support any political party or candidate because of what I stand to gain personally. I would rather focus on my businesses than devote my time to following politicians around.
However, whenever I see great potential in an aspirant who genuinely has the interests of the people at heart, I will willingly and actively support such a person.
Therefore, if you think people support politicians simply because they receive β¦5,000 or β¦10,000 daily, then you need to rethink that assumption.
Many of us would rather vote wisely and campaign for competent leaders seeking public office. A competent leader can transform the economy, improve security, provide infrastructure, and create opportunities that benefit everyone regardless of their background or location.
The day Nigerians stop selling their votes for tokens and begin voting based on competence, character, and vision, politics in Nigeria will take a different shape. Corrupt politicians will lose their positions to capable leaders who are committed to making life better for all citizens.
The future of Nigeria depends not only on the leaders we elect but also on the choices we make as voters. Every vote cast with conscience and conviction is a step toward a stronger, fairer, and more prosperous nation.
