This was made during the COVID lockdown days—a time when the whole world was suffering from a disease. There was fear of death every day. At the same time, the desire to survive was growing, along with different kinds of frustration. Overall, it was a tense and uncomfortable situation. In the middle of all that, some creative work helped bring a bit of relief. Another Nonsense Cinema is one of those pieces. It’s being re-released now for everyone to see.

উর্বর ভূমি আর প্রাকৃতিক পানির অবারিত উৎসের কারণে একসময় বরেন্দ্র অঞ্চল হয়ে উঠেছিল কৃষির অন্যতম কেন্দ্র। তবে পানির পরিমাণ কমতে শুরু করায় গত শতকের আশির দশক থেকে কৃষিকাজে ভূগর্ভস্থ পানির ব্যবহার শুরু হয়। ফুরিয়ে আসছে সেই যোগানও। ফলে নতুন সংকটে পড়ছে বরেন্দ্র অঞ্চলের কৃষি।
মাঠের সেই চ্যালেঞ্জগুলো আসলে কী? এর কি কোনো সমাধান আছে?
