So we’re are nearly ready to start our ivf journey again……. Scared but so excited ❤️

So as many will know after my last bloods they said I was due to get my period within 2weeks
If I started whilst in Dubai I’d have had to wait 21 days to start medication for ten days before I could start jabbers (as I wouldn’t be home to be monitored on jabbers) , but if I started when I got home I could go straight into jabbers as I’d be home to start monitoring with scans etc.

But I’ve still not had my period 🤯 plenty of pain but no bleeding yet 😭 Now the clinic do know I only had 3 periods in the space of nearly a year but the bloods did show I had one on the way. So not going to lie I’m definitely feeling a little anxious as to why it’s still not here and what will happen if it just doesn’t come?? Then makes my overthinking brain go into overdrive of what if something is wrong with my body and I don’t know it yet 😭
Anyone else been in similar situation? I’ve always been really irregular due to having Pcos and endometriosis but it used to be I’d have it more often than not 🙄 hopefully this post will jinx me and I’ll start tomorrow 😂🙏
I’m going to give the clinic a ring tomorrow to just check in and ask for some reassurance I think ❤️

After hearing that Martin and smithy have been getting a bit of backlash which absolutely blows my mind… I had a thought 💭

First can I just say for creators online so many people will comment what have you done for others etc and the truth is A lot.. but we don’t even share half of it because doing “good” is probably the worst feedback you get as a creator.. that’s crazy 😒

So I have decided to join the lads up Scafell Pike I couldn’t join in with them all as Abbie is struggling but I will join in with their second climb to help make a difference for all children struggling ❤️ and to support them in this amazing journey ❤️

I’m not sure if these little legs will get me to the top but I’m sure the lads can carry me if not 👀🤣🤣🤣🤣

We have set off today to the lake district for some family time ❤️❤️
Abbie has had a time of it recently and I think this will just cheer her up different location and family games nights all together ❤️

We will be doing something whilst we are here so if you have any suggestions that will suit all our kids ages let us know ❤️

Although we woke up this morning and were told it wasn’t booked for today it was actually tomorrow 😂😂 honestly that is just Abbie’s baby brain just now her mum and sister were waiting to leave and she had got the wrong day 🙈 luckily they managed to change it for us 🙈🙃

Are your kids on October holidays? I’m not sure if it’s just Scottish holidays.

Wendy’s (Abbie’s mum) was chuffed at all the positive comments on our funny video so she’s wanting to do some more 😅 so time to be a wind up merchant I think 😂😂😂

A couple of random pics of my life lately 🤣

Little bloaty bump is growing away fabulously that I had to upgrade the jeans as I couldn’t get my bahook in any of my usuals 🙈

Yep you best believe that next photo is MY hairy leg not my dads 🤣🙈 I had booked in to get them waxed but ended up so sick I had to cancel 😭 so I had no option but to get the razor out before my wife threw me in the dog bed thinking I was in their wolf pack 👀

Today I had my booking in appointment with a midwife where you just go over the essentials like previous pregnancies, births. Even go into your own childhood (not entirely sure why 🤯) health questions about ourselves and our donor. General information I guess. My next will be my consultant at 16 weeks as it’s a multiple pregnancy.

Roll on my next scan 🙏

Anyway seen a quote today that feels very fitting and I’m sure many can relate so thought I’d share

For some reason it hit hard 😒

So we’re home and settling back into our crazy wee life ❤️

We truly did have the most amazing holiday and made memories that will last a lifetime. I honestly will be forever grateful that we’ve been in a position we never thought possible to give our kids this life. And that’s where all you guys come into it as without everyone who follows our journeys on all our platforms we wouldn’t be where we are today so thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
You all know I absolutely love nothing more than a holiday and sunshine on my skin but I was definitely ready for my own bed by the end of our trip. Restless legs were horrific this holiday which pal yes a massive part of wanting home comforts. There is know where in the world that beats home comforts.
Also made a rookie mistake going away on holiday for 7+ nights means I absolutely need tweezers for those extra chin hairs I’ve gained over the years 😂👀
Cole enjoyed a nice wee nana nap with Todd today 😴 while I was outside in the garden with the kids tidying up ready to cut the grass. We have so many ideas for our garden but could really do with a professional landscaper if anyone knows any top notch ❤️

We are ready to set off ✈️
These were the only seats back 😂 and well we always said we have to do it one time for the bucket list.
Abbie thinks she’s posh now 😂 but she’s spilt pasta all the way down her 😂🙈

The menus to posh for me 😭😂 no pizza sheeesh 🙄😂 I may just try fall asleep. I just got handed a makeup bag and here is me sitting waiting on the men’s bag.. I will upload to our stories on the other side.

We are all like big excited kids right now taking the nerves off of flying ✈️

Our last day of our holiday was a blast ❤️ I feel so lucky that we were able to give them such an amazing experience and memories for a lifetime ❤️

Considering we got packed up a day early we didn’t have any plans as we thought we were flying home 🫣😂

My mum phoned last night because she was at a medium show it’s not something I believe in but he asked if anyone knew an Agnes which is my nanas name anyways long story short in a round about way he basically said that my nana hadn’t met 2 of her great grandchildren soon to be 3 as someone who is trying just now will have a baby girl. I will take that level of manifestation regardless to weather I believe or not ❤️
We spoke to the clinic today and now we are just waiting on Abbie’s “Aunt Flo” to arrive which should be any day now and we can get started as soon as we are home 🤞

OMG!! I can’t believe this 😭 Just when I thought I couldn’t be anyone stupid 🫢🤪

I have just spent the evening packing to go home tomorrow. You know the excited headspace you get in to go back home to your own bed.

Well I phoned to ask what time our transfer to the airport is and they just said “Mrs howat your transfer is not until Friday do you want to change that” our flights aren’t until Friday! 😳 I just had to break it to Cole and the kids we actually aren’t leaving. I had to phone my dad to not leave the dogs 😂

What am I supposed to do tomorrow unpack? 😅HELP.

Day 7 in Dubai
We started at the cheesecake factory finally a place that had a massive menu for literally everyone! Highly recommend if you go to Dubai.
We had a beach day and went on the world’s biggest aqua park on water. I did burst my nose 🤪 but all good now 😳 trying to keep up with the young ones is getting harder the older I get 😮‍💨

We have literally had the best family night tonight the only ones in the hotel swimming pool from 6pm-10pm here 🥰 Hudson can now swim the length of the baby pool under water so we have been such a proud family tonight 😬 even if he’s kept me on edge 🤪 we have 2 more days to go but what an amazing family holiday we have had ❤️

IVF - Also Abbie still hasn’t started her period 🤞 so let’s hope we can get our scans as soon as we are home 🤞 😬

Day 6 in Dubai
Today we went to IMG World in Dubai the biggest indoor theme park it was good.. 3 rides were brilliant for gee and Kai and a few for Hudson but there was a big play centre for Hudson also. If you are following for recommendations I would say it’s better for ages 4-9 which is between our kids ages the park was completely empty so we completed it and had lunch within a few hours.
We spent a late evening in the pool with Hudson but the busy busy days are catching up with him so he had an early night.

Me gee and Kai headed out tonight omg the most amazing night! We went to adventure island and done the floor is lava challenge all about the team work 🤪 then we headed to Tepfactor which is also incredible we done the same in Belfast, it’s a bit like the crystal maze 30 different rooms and 3 different difficulty levels. Again nothing like those near us at home. It’s just incredible for families here so much to do literally anything you can think of.

It’s been so nice to just spend some full on family time with the wee ones and it’s been a dream come true to be able to do this for them. ❤️
