I strongly condemn the reported police action against students in Delhi.
A democracy must answer dissent with dialogue, not batons or tear gas. Students are not the enemy; they are the conscience of every nation.
Peaceful protest is a democratic right. Any excessive use of force must be independently investigated, and those responsible held accountable.
I stand in solidarity with the students and all who believe in justice, dignity, and the rule of law.
