𝐈𝐬 𝐨𝐧-𝐩𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐒𝐄𝐎 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐥𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟𝐟-𝐩𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐒𝐄𝐎?
A lot of people think off-page SEO alone is enough. But the truth is a bit different.
Let’s say you’re doing local citations, branded backlinks, social sharing, guest posts and building backlinks. That’s great. You’ll definitely get some traffic from those efforts. But ask yourself this: If your website doesn’t have proper meta descriptions or titles, how can you expect long-term, organic traffic from Google?
Off-page SEO may bring traffic, but without strong on-page SEO, your content won’t rank well in search engines. That means less visibility, which can eventually affect your domain authority.
Backlinks are definitely a strong ranking signal no doubt about that. But here’s the thing: if those backlinks disappear one day and your on-page SEO is weak too… well, that’s a disaster waiting to happen.
So, what’s the best strategy?
𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞: On-page and off-page SEO should always go hand in hand. One supports the other.
I hope I have answered your question the way you expected it to be answered.
