As designers, we pour our time, skill, and creativity into every project. Our work isn't just pixels on a screen—it's the result of years of learning, experience, and dedication. And yet, there are always those who ask for "free designs" or expect high-quality work without respecting the value behind it.

I want to say to the people who don’t appreciate the value of good design, Imagine asking a chef to cook for free or a doctor for a free consultation. It’s the same principle. Design is our profession, our livelihood, and it deserves respect.

My fellow designers, Let’s set boundaries and value our work. We deserve clients who understand that quality design takes effort and expertise. Let’s choose projects and people that value what we bring to the table.

When employees feel ignored, undervalued, or disrespected, they lose interest in their routine tasks. As a result, they either quit or disengage. No one wants to perform well in an environment where they are overlooked or underestimated.

Such issues create a toxic culture that can drive away the best employees and harm productivity and profitability. As the saying goes, "The deepest emotions reveal themselves in silence." A toxic work environment can break even the strongest employees. On the other hand, a strong sense of understanding within the team fosters greater productivity and profitability for the organization.
