Today I notice that most of the H.S.C students failed & didn’t get good marks in English. Many wise journalists said that the students were so poor in English from the beginning stage that means primary schools. But my question the students studied at primary schools only five years. Then they had got seven years to study at secondary & colleges. So why they didn’t teach them properly. Is it right or they didn’t know how to teach in English? Absolutely it is true. Most of the secondary & colleges English teachers the don’t know how to teach English even they don’t deliver their speech in English within five minutes. It is the main problem of our English teachers. I had already researched more than ten thousand teachers around in our country. Not only primary schools teachers but also secondary, college & university English teachers. They think that English is a subject. But they forget that English is not only a subject but also a language. So if you learn & teach in English at first you have to know every language has some skills. The first skill is listening then speaking, reading & writing. Most of our students has no power in listening & speaking. It is the main problems of our students. It is not the fault of our students but it is the fault of our education system.So in my opinion, please at first change the education system then improve our teachers teaching abilities. It goes without saying that “ Please if you change the education system, at first change yourself & your teaching skills. Would you mind writing my own experience about an English language but not in English subject.
