বাংলাদেশ একটি স্বাধীন সার্বভৌম রাষ্ট্র। এখানে প্রতিটি নাগরিকের তার মনোভাব প্রকাশের পুর্ন স্বাধীনতা রয়েছে। সে যে কোনো দলের, মতের, গোষ্ঠীর হতে পারে। এবং এও হতে পারে তার মনোভাব অনৈতিক, অযৌক্তিক, অনুচিত, অধার্মিক, কিংবা স্বার্থান্বেষী। তবুও তার মনোভাব প্রকাশে শারীরিক ভাবে বাধা দেয়া অন্যায়। প্রতিটি অন্যায় কাজের জন্য শাস্তি বাধ্যতামূলক। গতকাল জাতীয় শিক্ষাক্রম ও পাঠ্যপুস্তক বোর্ড-এর সামনে ক্ষুদ্রনৃগোষ্ঠী বা উপজাতি যারা নিজেদের আদিবাসী বলে দাবি করে পাঠ্যপুস্তকের আদিবাসী লিখা সম্বলিত গ্রাফিতি বাতিলের প্রতিবাদে পুর্ব নির্ধারিত কর্মসূচি পালন করে। সেখানে "স্টুডেন্ট ফর সভরেন্ট" এর সমর্থকেরা তাদের বাধা দেয় এবং মারধর করে। যা নিন্দনীয়। যে সকল সমর্থক ক্ষুদ্রনৃগোষ্ঠীর উপর হামলা করেছে এবং তাদের আহত করেছে তাদের শাস্তির আওতায় নিয়ে আসা উচিত।

Bangladesh is an independent sovereign state. Here every citizen has full freedom to express his opinion. He can belong to any party, opinion, group. And it may be that his attitude is immoral, irrational, unfair, unrighteous, or selfish. However, it is wrong to physically prevent him from expressing his views. Punishment is mandatory for every wrongdoing. Yesterday, in front of the National Curriculum and Textbook Board, minority groups or tribes claiming to be tribals held a pre-scheduled program to protest against the cancellation of graffiti containing tribal writing in textbooks. There the supporters of "Students for Sovereign" intercepted and beat them. which is reprehensible. Those supporters who attack and injure minorities should be brought to justice.
