সৌদি আরবের রাজধানী রিয়াদে ইসরায়েলি বাহিনীর হামলা বা মুসলিম দেশগুলোর ওপর একযোগে ইসরায়েলি বিমান হামলার মতো সংবাদ যদি আগামী দিনে শোনা যায়, তাতে বিস্মিত হওয়ার কিছু নেই। কারণ, এই পরিস্থিতি তারা নিজেরাই সৃষ্টি করেছে।

যারা এতদিন বলে এসেছে যে ইসরায়েল-ফিলিস্তিন ইস্যু কেবল এই দুই দেশের মধ্যে সীমাবদ্ধ, তারা এখন কী বলবে যখন ইসরায়েলি বাহিনী তাদের ভূখণ্ড ছেড়ে কাতারের দোহায় হামলা চালাবে? এটি আমার কাছে মোটেও অবাক করার মতো বিষয় নয়।

মুসলিম বিশ্ব যদি এখনো ঐক্যবদ্ধ না হয়, তাহলে বর্তমান মুসলিম সম্প্রদায়ের কাছ থেকে আর কোনো আশা করা যায় না।

If news breaks in the coming days about an Israeli attack on Saudi Arabia’s capital, Riyadh, or simultaneous airstrikes by Israeli forces on Muslim countries, there’s no reason to be surprised. This is a situation they have brought upon themselves.

Those who have been saying that the Israel-Palestine issue is solely a matter between these two nations, what will they say now if Israeli forces step beyond their borders and attack Doha, Qatar? To me, this is not surprising at all.

If Muslims still fail to unite, there is little to expect from the current Muslim community.
