সিলেটে ইউরোপ ও কানাডায় গমনেচ্ছু সাধারণ মানুষের স্বপ্নকে পুঁজি করে কোটি কোটি টাকার ভ-য়ং-কর প্র-তারণা বাণিজ্যের অ-ভিযোগ উঠেছে ‘অ্যামেক্স এসোসিয়েটস’ (Amex Associates) নামক একটি কনসালটেন্সি ফার্মের বি-রু-দ্ধে। জমকালো অফিস আর চটকদার বিজ্ঞাপনের আড়ালে প্রতিষ্ঠানটি শত শত মানুষের কাছ থেকে বিপুল অংকের অর্থ হা-তিয়ে নিয়েছে বলে চা-ঞ্চ-ল্যকর তথ্য সামনে এসেছে।

📍 ভিসা বাণিজ্যের সা-জানো নাটকের মূল পয়েন্ট:

টা-র্গেট যখন ইউরোপ-কানাডা: সিলেট অঞ্চলের মানুষের প্রবাসে যাওয়ার প্রবল ইচ্ছাকে কাজে লাগিয়ে কানাডা ও ইউরোপের বিভিন্ন দেশের জাল ও ভু-য়া ভিসা প্রসেসিংয়ের নামে কোটি টাকার ফাঁ-দ পাতে এই চ-ক্র।

অ্যামেক্স এসোসিয়েটস-এর কৌশল: প্রথম দিকে ফাইল প্রসেসিং ও অগ্রিম বুকিংয়ের নামে লাখ লাখ টাকা নেওয়া হতো। পরবর্তীতে ভু-য়া ডকুমেন্ট বা ফাইল জমা দিয়ে মাসের পর মাস গ্রাহকদের ঘোরানো হতো এবং শেষ পর্যন্ত টাকা নিয়ে আ-ত্ম-সাৎ করা হতো।

ভু-ক্তভোগীদের হা-হাকার: নিঃস্ব হওয়া একাধিক ভু-ক্তভোগী জানিয়েছেন, জমি-জমা বিক্রি এবং ধার-দেনা করে তারা এই এজেন্সির হাতে টাকা তুলে দিয়েছিলেন। এখন ভিসা তো দূরের কথা, মূল টাকা ফেরত চাইলে উল্টো হু-মকি-ধা-মকির শি-কার হতে হচ্ছে।

আইনশৃঙ্খলা র-ক্ষাকারী বাহিনী ইতিমধ্যে এই চ-ক্রের কার্যক্রম এবং আর্থিক লেনদেনের বিষয়টি খতিয়ে দেখছে বলে জানা গেছে।

সিলেটে লাইসেন্সবিহীন বা ভু-য়া কনসালটেন্সি ফার্মগুলোর বি-রুদ্ধে প্র-শাসনের আরও ক-ঠোর আইনি ব্যবস্থা বা লিগ্যাল অ্যাকশন (Legal Action) নেওয়া উচিত কি না? দা-লালের খ-প্পর থেকে বাঁ-চতে সাধারণ মানুষের স-চেতনতা এবং ব্যাংকিং চ্যানেলের মাধ্যমে ফাইন্যান্সিয়াল সি-কিউরিটি (Financial Security) নিশ্চিত করা কতটা জরুরি? কমেন্টে আপনার মতামত দিন।
