Game & Extempore Speech || Speakers' Hour

This week's Speakers' Hour featured an engaging Game Session and Extempore Speech Session.

The game challenged participants to listen carefully, reverse words, and respond quickly turning a simple task into an exercise in attention, speed, and quick thinking. Alongside it, the Extempore Speech Session encouraged participants to think on their feet and express their ideas with confidence.

Extempore Speech || Speakers' Hour

Speak without preparation, think without hesitation.

This week's Speakers' Hour featured an engaging Extempore Speech Session, where participants shared their thoughts on a variety of thought provoking topics ranging from social media, artificial intelligence, leadership, and technology to success, happiness and the future of our world.
Without prior preparation, speakers took the stage, organized their ideas within moments and expressed their opinions with confidence and clarity. The session not only challenged spontaneous speaking abilities but also encouraged critical thinking, creativity, and effective communication.

At SUSC, we don't just speak, we think, express and grow together.

Conceptual Videos || Speakers' Hour.

Every video tells a story but every mind interprets it differently.
This week's Speakers' Hour challenged our members through an engaging Conceptual Video Session, where participants watched a thought provoking video and transformed their observations into meaningful speeches.
Each speaker had the opportunity to analyze the video's message, express their unique perspective and share insights with confidence. The session encouraged critical thinking, creativity, spontaneous speaking, and the ability to communicate ideas beyond what was visible on the screen.

At SUSC, we don't just watch, we observe, analyze, and express.

Every movie has a story and every viewer has a perspective.
This week's Speakers' Hour brought together engaging discussions, diverse opinions and memorable stories through an exciting Movie Debating Session.
Participants were invited to the stage to choose a movie of their choice and share their thoughts on its strengths, weaknesses or overall impact.The audience actively joined the conversation by offering their own perspectives, raising questions and challenging ideas, making each discussion more interactive and thought provoking.
Beyond movies, the session took a personal and entertaining turn as members shared some of their most embarrassing moments since joining university life. The stories brought laughter, relatability and a reminder that every experience.
From critical thinking and public speaking to storytelling and audience engagement, today's hour was a wonderful blend of learning and fun.

Every picture tells a story but how you interpret it makes all the difference.

This week's Speakers' Hour challenged our members to think beyond what meets the eye through an engaging Conceptual Photo Speaking Session.

Each speaker was presented with a random conceptual image on the screen and given a few moments to observe, analyze and organize their thoughts before delivering an impromptu speech. Every interpretation reflected a unique perspective, showcasing creativity, critical thinking, confidence and the ability to communicate ideas effectively.

The session reminded us that there is no single way to interpret a picture every viewpoint has its own value when expressed with clarity and confidence.

A heartfelt thank you to all our speakers and participants for making today's session insightful, interactive and inspiring.

𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘍𝘢𝘴𝘵. 𝘚𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘬 𝘚𝘮𝘢𝘳𝘵. 𝘎𝘶𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘙𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵.

This week's Speakers' Hour featured an exciting Hot Seat Challenge, where communication, teamwork and quick thinking took center stage.
Representing Team Mayer Dua and Team Cozy Chaos, one participant from each team took the Hot Seat, facing the audience while remaining completely unaware of the word or topic written behind them. Their teammates then had the challenge of providing meaningful clues while carefully following the game's rules. The participants had to listen attentively, think critically and guess the correct answer using only the clues they received.
From well known personalities and global events to everyday objects and trending topics, every round tested the participants' creativity, vocabulary, presence of mind and speaking skills. Correct guesses earned valuable points, while rule violations resulted in negative marks making every clue and every word count.
The session was filled with laughter, excitement, healthy competition and meaningful learning, proving once again that the best learning happens when communication meets creativity.
Congratulations to Team Mayer Dua and Team Cozy Chaos for their enthusiastic participation and wonderful sportsmanship.

What if excuses became a competition?

This week's Speakers' Hour challenged our members to think on their feet, defend the most unexpected situations and respond to tough counter-questions with confidence and creativity.

From arriving 20 minutes late to class to claiming "I'm just 5 minutes away" while still lying in bed, every excuse was put to the test through logic, wit and spontaneous speaking.

With engaging debates, critical thinking and a panel of judges evaluating each performance, the session was filled with laughter, learning and healthy competition.

At SUSC, we believe that every challenge is an opportunity to improve communication, confidence and presence of mind.
