When a Game of UNO Became a Life Lesson.
Today at work , we decided to switch things up and have a bit of fun. With a few team members on leave, the three of us decided to play UNO. One person had already won. It was down to me and another colleague. I had seven plain number cards, and my opponent had only one. Feeling defeated, I was ready to quit and said, “You win, I’m done.”
But the third player said, “No, you’ve got to keep playing.”
The opponent had a green card, but we were playing in red. He couldn’t make a move and had to draw a card. Then I had no red cards either and had to draw. This cycle continued, and soon enough, the game completely turned in my favor. In a twist I never saw coming, I won the game!

- Life can surprise you when you least expect it. Just when you think you’ve lost, things can turn around. So Don’t Give up!
- Always surround yourself with people who push you forward—sometimes, that’s all you need to turn things in your favor.
