Freaksville Freaksville is an independent record label and publisher founded in 2006 in Liège, now based in Brussels, Belgium. More than a label, it's a family !

In addition to producing records and podcasts, Freaksville offers label services, distribution, and manufacturing solutions. Freaksville is a indie record label based in Belgium since 2006. It's a team of amazing musicians, illustrators, producers, cult artists, lyricists from belgium and beyond ! All these famous and great artists visited our musical village in the past and enjoyed making music with belgium mutants : Chrissie Hynde, Laetitia Sadier, LIO, Christine Ott, Mark Gardener, Marie France, LIO, Elisa Point, Alain Chamfort, Coralie Clément, Jacques Duvall, Marc Moulin and Michel Moers (Telex), Alister. Freaksville also provides great services for label (digital and physical distribution, managing publishing rights, promotion and pressing)

Since 2012, Freaksville created podcast contents dedicated to underground pop culture.

Today: NOW “Everything Is In Out”.

Formed in 1998, NOW brought together adventurous multi-instrumentalists with a shared love of analogue synths, electronics, guitars, percussion and traditional instruments, all pushed into their own strange version of experimental pop.

Catchy, exotic, messy, harmonious and occasionally completely off the wall, their music sits somewhere between lo fi pop, kosmische grooves and playful sonic experimentation.

“Everything Is In Out” is a perfect introduction to that wonderfully skewed universe.

At the time, the press described the album as melancholic, panoramic, sumptuous and cinematic, a strange world of luxury, heartbreak and illusion, somewhere between French chanson, 70s pop and orchestral pop.

Drowned in Sound singled out “La Chinoise” as one of the album’s sharpest pop moments, while summed up the whole record beautifully: love according to Freaksville, imagined as a wrestling match.

Directed by Sauvage Sauvage.

A romantic, rococo and slightly surreal chapter in the Freaksville story.

Digging into the Freaksville archives, one video at a time. Josy & The Pony vs. The Poneymen “H!!! Hue H!!! Han”, from Hippodrone Club.

Released in 2017 on Rockerill Records / Freaksville Music, the track perfectly captures the band’s wonderfully deranged universe: yé yé pop, surf guitars, garage noise, absurd humour and total disregard for good taste.

Directed by Antoine Lanckmans, the VHS soaked video became one of the band’s most memorable visual statements and even made its way onto Tracks on ARTE TV.

Today: Hystérie “Service Secret”, released in 2016 on Le Turc Mécanique / Ascese Records and distributed by Freaksville.

Dark, hypnotic, electronic and completely unhinged, “Service Secret” is one of those underground tracks that feels like a beautiful fever dream gone wrong.

Originally released on a split vinyl with Commune Épave, the track came with a striking video premiered by France.

Pure madness.

Today: “Du Sang Du Singe”, from the album Fall Off The Apex.

A wild, physical and hypnotic piece from the Belgian duo, somewhere between noise rock, repetition, punk energy and mutant dance music.

The video was directed by Alex Orma and produced by CZAR, with choreography by Brandon Lagaert.

Released in 2022, Fall Off The Apex was distributed by Freaksville alongside , with À Tant Rêver du Roi Records and Rockerill Records.

A fierce and very Belgian collision of sound, movement and chaos.

Filmed by Philippe Lebruman, the track was composed by , arranged with & and recorded during the summer of 2022 at La Bergerie, in the south of France near the Mediterranean.

La Bibliothèque de la Bergerie moves between library music, experimental pop, soft psychedelia and soundtrack culture, with echoes of , Alessandro Alessandroni, and The High Llamas.

A little summer portal, suspended somewhere outside of time.
