👉 'Grave Monolith', the self-titled debut album, is an immense and emotionally consuming work that combines the suffocating weight of funeral doom with the bleak atmosphere of black metal, the timeless power of traditional doom, and the driving force of heavy metal.
Rather than relying solely on slow tempos and oppressive repetition, Grave Monolith shape each composition with dynamic movement, layered atmosphere, and a deep sense of narrative.
Every song feels less like an isolated track and more like a chapter within a single descent - a meditation on suffering, violence, mortality, spiritual collapse, and emotional ruin.
The album’s production embraces both clarity and overwhelming density. Towering guitar walls, cavernous low-end, ritualistic percussion, and haunting vocal arrangements create a sonic monument that feels equally ancient and desolate. Influences from the classic doom traditions of Candlemass and Saint Vitus can be heard in the mournful melodic phrasing and heavy riff architecture, while the shadow of black metal emerges through bleak ambience, cold textures, and moments of harrowing emotional intensity. Funeral doom remains the album’s core foundation, while expanding the genre into something cinematic, violent, and deeply immersive.
