With Italian roots tracing back to Naples, Nico Parisi has always had a deep passion for music. His distinctive blend of melodic and progressive house, driven by emotion, energy and timeless melodies, has established him as a respected figure in the electronic music scene, both in Belgium and internationally. Nico played a key role in a musical movement that shaped an entire generation of clubbers through the iconic Atmoz club concept and Atmoz label. As both a DJ and producer, he became closely associated with a sound and era that left a lasting mark on Belgium’s electronic music culture. As a producer, Nico Parisi has made his mark on the Belgian dance scene for more than two decades. He was one of the driving forces behind Aqualords, scoring several successful releases, while his production and remix work found its way onto internationally respected labels connected to artists such as Tiësto and Paul Oakenfold. His ability to combine underground credibility with a broader electronic sound established his reputation as a versatile and forward-thinking producer. One of the defining records of his career is “Metro.” Originally released in 2006, the track quickly caught the attention of Armin van Buuren, who famously played it during his legendary Trance Energy 2006 set. “Metro” would later become part of the A State of Trance Classics series, cementing its status as a record that stood the test of time. Nearly two decades later, “Metro” experienced an extraordinary global resurgence when Kevin de Vries & Mau P created a new version for the influential Afterlife label. The rework became a worldwide success, generating more than 45 million streams on Spotify, becoming one of the standout electronic records of 2023 and earning the distinction of being the most-played track at Tomorrowland that year. Throughout his career, Nico’s musical journey has taken him to some of electronic music’s most prestigious stages, including multiple performances at Tomorrowland, Pukkelpop and appearances in Ibiza. His sound is defined by melodic depth, emotion and energy, allowing him to connect equally with intimate club crowds and massive festival audiences. Over the years, Nico has worked alongside influential artists and labels, while his productions continue to receive support from major names across the international electronic music scene. Always evolving while remaining true to his musical identity, Nico Parisi continues to explore new sounds without losing the qualities that have defined his career: soul, emotion and timeless character. With decades of experience behind him and a constant drive to move forward, Nico Parisi continues to write new chapters in a career that connects the roots of electronic music with its future.
