🍉 Ghent Runs for Gaza: Peace Run Brings Together Sports, Music, and Solidarity

The "Teachers without Borders" from Artevelde University of Applied Sciences are drawing a red line for Gaza with a positive message. On October 5, they are organizing the Peace Run for Gaza at the Wouter Weylandt Stadium.

The goal: together with as many Ghent residents as possible, cover the symbolic distance from Ghent to Gaza (4,200 km). Whether by walking, running, or jogging. Every meter counts.

Olympic marathon runner Bashir Abdi will kick things off. 🏃🏾‍♂️

The "Teachers without Borders" from Artevelde University are a group of committed teachers who are intentionally drawing a red line for Gaza and want to send a positive message of love, unity, and hope. Together with Sportaround vzw and Sport Eldorado (FutsalGent vzw), they are using sports and community to connect people in solidarity.

Bjièn Launches Board Game on Neurodiversity to Improve Team Dynamics

—Unlocking the power of neurodiversity at work - launched French and English versions of its board game, "Become a High-Performing Neurodiverse Team - The Game."

The game aims to help team members and managers better understand neurodiversity and to collaborate more effectively and inclusively as a neurodiverse team.

This leads to increased productivity, resilience, and well-being at work.

The game simulates realistic workplace situations. Players work with a fictional team of five people, each with different personalities and work styles, without their specific neurotype being revealed.

The game challenges players to make strategic team management choices in order to achieve and maintain a high score in well-being and productivity.

PRESS RELEASE ☘️ Antwerp Welcomes a Brand-New and Unique Event: ALTAR Festival

On Saturday, September 6, Park Zuid will open its doors for a multidisciplinary festival that brings together spirituality, healing, art, music, and movement in a fresh and accessible way.
altar.altar aims to provide an answer to the growing need for connection and well-being in society.

Visitors can participate in over 40 workshops at various locations, ranging from ecstatic dance, yoga, breathwork to family constellations and lectures. These will be led by national and international facilitators, including Florine Gabriël, Pieter Embrechts, Ella June Henrard, Hilde De Baerdemaeker, and Xavier Le Clef (Botanic Sanctuary Antwerp).

"We've noticed a great need for places where people can come together on a conscious level," say Hiske Van den Wouwer and Pieter Delbaen, the initiators. "It's important to create spaces where it's normal to feel and express emotions. With ALTAR, we are laying the foundation for such a community, starting with the festival."
