10 YEARS OF BELLY BUTTON RECORDS ⚡️
Apparently I’m already running this little mailorder label thingie for a decade which is pretty crazy.
I started it at my student room in Ghent back in 2015 with the release of The Jagged Frequency 12” ep (my first band). I studied illustration and animation for two years but never went to school and rather dubbed cassettes, drew gig posters, played in bands and learned how to record. The recording studio became more and more important through the years and now 80% of what’s released on Belly Button is also recorded to tape here at (yes that’s where that famous s**tty is pretty medium-fi sound comes from)
Soooo for this 10 year anniversary occasion we’re doing something SPECIAL!
A series of ten in-house recorded 7” vinyl records with both older and new Belly Button bands is being released as we speak. The first 3 ep’s in this series are already out and available through bandcamp. Volume 4 will be out a week before Christmas and is up for pre-order. All releases will have red & blue Riso-printed artwork.
You can either buy them separately, in a bundle of 4 (since today) or if you can wait ‘till they’re all out in a bundle of 10 (email pls). The series will be completed somewhere in 2026 but no exact date as I rather take my time to produce good records instead of rushed ones 🏁

I wanna thank everybody who ever bought a record, all bands, projects and everybody who ever came over to record or hosted a Belly Button night. Labels I co-released stuff with and my friends for supporting me along the way. This full time diy effort is only possible because of you!

"House Animal Included" is an emotionally unstable, love-sick, fuzz-soaked joyride tearing through the dirty backroads of garageland. What started with an obsession and digging through obscure 60's music spiraled into a full-blown fixation.

The album ties together fuzzy, Kinks-like riffs, spaghetti-western whistling, Byrds-esque harmonies, surfadelica and gritty "Back From the Grave"-style shredding into the most daring, refreshing sound ITCHES has produced yet.

The result is a record that is indeed more 60's sounding than their previous recording efforts, but there's also little hints of late 70's punk like The Dickies and even 90's rock band Supergrass. "House Animal Included" is a cool cat: it can be cuddly, it can be angry and most of all it doesn't give a s**t!

NEW KING DICK ALBUM ‘Romantic Love Shrine’ is OUT NOW!
King Dick is the solo project of legendary Antwerp-based multi instrumentalist Wim De Busser.
He already released 6 albums since 2016 on his own King Dick records. All of them carry his signature lo-fi sound except ‘Hit Box 21’ for which he re-recorded some of the old tracks in a less adventurous way so average Joe himself could also enjoy the sweet songwriting of the king. His new record ‘Romantic Love Shrine’ meets right in the middle as far as audio fidelity goes. Wim clearly upgraded his recording techniques without losing the spontaneous magic from the earlier records. Therefore his songwriting blossoms over the album and makes both garage rock bangers and psychedelic trance trips shine brighter than ever. Songs like ‘Hypnotic Introduction/Ready For More’ split you mind wide open and make you drift away from the cartooneske Love Is Always Good To Me while title track ‘Romantic Love Shrine’ pushes you in the more familiar goofy garage pit.
Wim is also active as Jazz pianist and played for: ,Zita Swoon, , , w/ , , ….
