Happy and proud to announce I recorded Belgian legends , , .punx and ! I will also be releasing the special edition (75 only!) of their new 7” vinyl as part of the 10 years of Belly Button series on 14 March at

This EP includes two tracks by The Kids.
‘No Work’ was originally recorded for their first album in 1978 but never saw the light of day. It became a live classic and now for the first time ever you’ll be able to hear the freshly recorded studio version.

‘Borderline’ was previously recorded for their 2005 ‘freedom, Liberty and Democracy’ EP but hits way harder in this freshly recorded version. My personal favorite!

The other 3 songs on the record are weird or extra aggressive Kids covers!

Kotskat = ‘For the Fret’

10 YEARS OF BELLY BUTTON RECORDS ⚡️
Apparently I’m already running this little mailorder label thingie for a decade which is pretty crazy.
I started it at my student room in Ghent back in 2015 with the release of The Jagged Frequency 12” ep (my first band). I studied illustration and animation for two years but never went to school and rather dubbed cassettes, drew gig posters, played in bands and learned how to record. The recording studio became more and more important through the years and now 80% of what’s released on Belly Button is also recorded to tape here at (yes that’s where that famous s**tty is pretty medium-fi sound comes from)
Soooo for this 10 year anniversary occasion we’re doing something SPECIAL!
A series of ten in-house recorded 7” vinyl records with both older and new Belly Button bands is being released as we speak. The first 3 ep’s in this series are already out and available through bandcamp. Volume 4 will be out a week before Christmas and is up for pre-order. All releases will have red & blue Riso-printed artwork.
You can either buy them separately, in a bundle of 4 (since today) or if you can wait ‘till they’re all out in a bundle of 10 (email pls). The series will be completed somewhere in 2026 but no exact date as I rather take my time to produce good records instead of rushed ones 🏁

I wanna thank everybody who ever bought a record, all bands, projects and everybody who ever came over to record or hosted a Belly Button night. Labels I co-released stuff with and my friends for supporting me along the way. This full time diy effort is only possible because of you!

Special thanks to the amazing for managing the .diy papier-mâché! for all the help and co-releases over the years. for providing the best HQ and .vanov for inspiring me to start this label 10 years ago through Oddie records ❤️

"House Animal Included" is an emotionally unstable, love-sick, fuzz-soaked joyride tearing through the dirty backroads of garageland. What started with an obsession and digging through obscure 60's music spiraled into a full-blown fixation.

The album ties together fuzzy, Kinks-like riffs, spaghetti-western whistling, Byrds-esque harmonies, surfadelica and gritty "Back From the Grave"-style shredding into the most daring, refreshing sound ITCHES has produced yet.

The result is a record that is indeed more 60's sounding than their previous recording efforts, but there's also little hints of late 70's punk like The Dickies and even 90's rock band Supergrass. "House Animal Included" is a cool cat: it can be cuddly, it can be angry and most of all it doesn't give a s**t!
