The Minister of Sports, Prof. Mouelle Kombi provides clarifications on the alleged resignation of Marc Brys:
"In this regard, the information regarding the alleged resignation of the Indomitable Lions coach-head coach is baseless and purely manipulated."
Besides, the MINSEP would like to emphasize that as of now, the Coach-Selector has no more salary arrears, the Ministry of Finance (MINFI) has actually cleared them, on July 18, 2025. Which raises any possible misunderstandings about the Coach's salary situation.
In view of the appreciable results of Mr. Marc BRYS, since his appointment as the head of the Indomptables Lions, the MINSEP wants to renew its total confidence in him and reassure him of the Government's support in the achievement of the missions entrusted to him.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Sports and Physical Education calls on the federation Cameroonian Football (FECAFOOT) to more restraint and weighting as well as a high sense of responsibility and patriotism in managing the collaboration with the technical staff of the Indomptables Lions. π¨π²
