The Opera Air cat mascot is now officially Inara - inspired by Istanbul’s beloved street cats and ancient myths filled with light, calm, and protection.

My cats just taught me (again) that instincts never lie.
A lovely reader, Cindy, wrote to me about accidentally buying dog food instead of cat food… and her cats’ reaction was priceless: offended stare, and then pawing the floor like they were burying evidence.

The funny part? I’ve done the exact same thing.
And it turns out this “burying” behavior isn’t drama - it’s survival instinct.
Cats know when something’s off. Instantly.

Myratz may be a senior gentleman, but his bathroom rituals are very much top-tier. He insists on drinking fresh water only from the tap, naturally.
So every day I lift him up onto the cupboard, he enjoys his little spa moment at the sink, and when he’s done… he politely sits and waits for his human servant (me) to lift him down again.

The royal routine must be respected. 🐱 🤍
