First look at how the Lone Rider lights perform on public roads — and it’s the first time for both of us seeing them in action. 🔥

These lights shine incredibly bright, making you far more visible to other drivers and riders. A well-deserved upgrade for the brand-new BMW R 1300 GS Adventure — and what a difference they make!

Huge thanks to Motos Inghelbrecht and their talented team of professionals for the perfect installation. Now all I need to worry about is flashing them at the right time 😍✨

Back where I belong. 🏍️✨

I’ve been riding since 2004 — that’s 22 years on two wheels — and no matter how much time passes, nothing compares to this feeling. After almost a 6-months break due to unforeseen circumstances, today reminded me why I fell in love with riding in the first place.

The engine’s roar. The road stretching endlessly ahead. And the wind on my chest… well, not so much this time — because the windshield is an absolute monster and does an incredible job blocking it 😎💨

Being back on my motorcycle isn’t just about riding — it’s about gratitude. Grateful for life. Grateful for strength. Grateful for another chance to experience this freedom again.

Sometimes you don’t realize how much something means to you until you’re forced to pause. And when you return, it feels even more beautiful than before.

How long have you been riding for? 🛣️🔥

Track Day at Mettet – Knee Down on a 1300 GS Adventure

Very surprising the things this bike is capable of achieving despite its weight and huge posture.

Today at Mettet, I experienced something I honestly didn’t expect to tick off on a big adventure bike: knee down on a 1300 GS Adventure.

Let’s be real — this machine is tall, wide, and built to cross continents, not carve apexes. You look at it in the paddock next to dedicated sport bikes and it almost feels out of place. But once the visor drops and you roll onto the circuit, something changes.

Through the fast sweepers, the stability is unreal. The weight that feels intimidating at standstill completely disappears once the bike is moving. The chassis feels planted, the front end inspires confidence, and the wide bars give you incredible leverage to tip it in with precision.

Lap after lap, I started trusting it more:
• Carrying more corner speed
• Leaning further each session

And then it happened — that smooth, unmistakable scrape of the knee slider. On a full-size GS Adventure. On a proper race circuit.

The combination of modern suspension, electronics, and sheer balance makes this bike far more capable than its adventure DNA suggests. It may not be a supersport, but it doesn’t need to be. It’s a reminder that rider confidence and technique can unlock performance in places you least expect.

A big, tall, continent-eater… casually dragging knee at Mettet.
What a machine.

Thanks a lot Motos Inghelbrecht and EYBIS for this opportunity. Couldn’t have experienced this without your guys.
