Growth is great. We want it.

Followers, reach, views… they open doors, create visibility, spark momentum.

But if you’ve ever watched your reach skyrocket and thought, “why isn’t it translating?” to $ → this is why.

👀Growth shows the room glanced your way.

✨Depth proves they stayed, listened, and came back.

You want to start optimizing for depth metrics more especially right now.

Why? Depth = measurable trust & trust is crucial to the buyer journey.

Depth metrics (a breakdown):

✨ Saves = memory → you’re in their head tomorrow
✨ Shares = resonance → your message travels beyond you
✨ Comments = community density → algos amplify what sparks conversation
✨ DMs = intimacy → where conversions begin
✨ Repeat buyers = retention → compounding ROI

And the platform data backs this up.

Here’s the science-backed shift:

* Watch time & retention > reach → long-form and replays carry more algorithmic weight

* Social search → saves/shares = authority signals, helping you rank like Google

* Community in comments → density = distribution

* Trend fatigue + AI slop → originality wins, copycats sink

* Retention = platform revenue → the stickier your audience, the more the algo rewards you

So yes — growth brings you the audience & you need that.

But depth? Depth brings you the equity & ROI.

At SPF House, we design for visibility & devotion.
Growth gets the room’s attention.
Depth gets them to stay, engage, and buy again.

That’s the compounding equity every founder actually wants🫶🏻

You don’t need a good hook. You need a sticky one. 🍯

A sticky hook isn’t just a scroll-stopper.
It’s a brain tattoo.
It makes your buyer mutter it in the shower 3 days later.

It’s the line they repeat to their best friend over wine like it was their idea.

And here’s the kicker: sticky hooks don’t just sell attention.

🪝They sell belief.
🪝They filter.
🪝They become part of your brand’s DNA. (When people start parroting your hooks back to you? That’s called free marketing, babe.)

So I made you a Sticky Hook Bank: Beauty & Wellness Edition…. You’re welcome.

15 lines with enough teeth to bite through the noise and enough soul to actually stick.

✨ Save this before your Canva folder tricks you into posting another “hydration is key” snoozefest.

The truth? Most brands don’t lose customers because their product isn’t good.

They lose them because their presence is forgettable.

She doesn’t hit follow because she’s already seen ten other brands that look just like yours.
She doesn’t add to cart because she can’t quite figure out what you do—or why it matters to her.

And here’s the kicker: it’s rarely about “posting more.”

It’s about posting with clarity, positioning, and resonance.

When your brand stops blending in and starts whispering the right things in the right way
that’s when she stops scrolling and starts shopping.

Save this list for when your engagement feels flat. It’s not the algorithm, it’s the vibe.

Every founder says they’re “telling their story.”

Translation: they copy-pasted the same three sentences from their About page and called it a day.

Here’s the truth: your buyers don’t need more of your story. They need a better angle.

Missteps. Micro-moments. The detail you thought was too small to matter.

Storytelling isn’t one chapter. It’s the whole book.

And if you want people to keep turning the page, you’ve got to change the angle you’re telling it from.

This month: try The Story Swap.

Your audience — and your ethos — will thank you 🫶🏻

Scrolling is full of influencer cosplay: GRWMs for no one, flatlays that sell nothing, “just because” content.

You’re not auditioning for a sponsorship—you’re building a business.

Their leverage is: “If you trust me, you’ll try what I try.”
Your leverage is: “If this product becomes part of your daily rhythm, you’ll feel different forever.”

One is transaction. The other is transformation.
(Do you feel that??)

So when brands copy influencer tactics, it often backfires & confuses the buyer’s brain.

And this is one of the BIGGEST mistakes I see new brands make in the beauty & wellness space:
because so much of our industry runs on aesthetics and vibes, founders assume that’s enough.

Pretty packaging. Aspirational feeds. Trendy GRWMs.

Vibes alone don’t convert. Rituals do.

Your buyer doesn’t just want to know what it looks like in your bathroom—they want to know:
* How it behaves under SPF.
* Whether it pills under makeup at hour four.
* What week two of the retinol purge really looks like.
* Why your supplement protocol actually sticks when 80% of routines fall off.

That’s the gap.
And if you don’t fill it with proof and ritual, your audience will scroll right past you—because another brand will.

So… I built you a swap sheet to drag you out of influencer land and into marketing that pays rent.

Most founders post like everyone in their audience is the same person in the same headspace.

They’re not.

Your buyer moves through modes:

👀 Explorer — doom-scrolling, looking for a spark.
📝 Evaluator — researching, weighing options, poking holes.
🚀 Ready-to-act — decision made, just needs a nudge.

Every piece of content should have a purpose—not just to “post something,” but to meet the buyer exactly where they are.

Explorer mode? ➡️Interrupt the scroll with a vibe or a bold founder POV.

Evaluator mode? ➡️Serve clarity—explainers, FAQs, transparent pricing.

Ready-to-act? ➡️Reduce friction. Show the transformation. Make it stupid-simple to say yes.

When you know the mode, you know the move.

That’s how you stop creating “content for content’s sake” and start creating a sales system.
