I was thinking about this time last October…. 🍂

I remember (vividly) calling my sister to celebrate going to the post office and the grocery store in one day.

(yes… that was my big win.)

My capacity was maxed. 

Life abroad will do that to you. 

One minute, you’re feeling like a badass and, the next you’re crying in Carrefour because you can’t figure out what sour cream is in Dutch. (True story)

I look back at last October realizing that at the time I felt like I wasn’t really accomplishing anything.

I felt like I was surviving.

But looking back, the year I thought I “lost” was the year I learned how to live again.

It was the year I quietly raised the bar on myself.

You know what… 
Growth doesn’t always announce itself with fireworks.

The version of you who was barely keeping it together?

She was doing reps for the one who doesn’t flinch anymore.

A year from now, what feels hard will feel easy.
What feels heavy will feel like air.
That’s not luck.

I expected them to read my mind instead of learn my brand.
