From the upcoming book FANTÔMES MÉTÉORES by Florian Luthi

FANTÔMES MÉTÉORES explores the shifting boundary between reality, memory, and myth. The project draws from the wave of UFO sightings that swept across France in 1954, particularly along the French-Swiss border. Newspapers at the time reported strange lights, apparitions, and mysterious encounters that often left behind little more than fear and speculation.

Florian Luthi produced a photographic narrative where truth wavers and past stories linger. Using archival materials, re-enactments, and documentary pictures, he merged historical events with his own interpretations and turned the Jura Mountains into a stage where memory, myth and landscape collide.

The project will be on view at Centre de la photographie Genève from Monday the 13th of July to the 2nd of October
FANTÔMES MÉTÉORES will be one of Éditions La CAB next publications

From our last book The Art of Living Twice by .lambrecht

The Art of Living Twice centers on the memory of Cécile, Simen’s deceases grandmother, and her 82 years of life in the same small village. As time passes, memories fade, and what remains of her increasingly intersignes with Lambrecht’s childhood fantasies and Fleming rural stereotypes. Using a series of letters from her grandmother as a guide, Simen confronts memory as both an imperfect record and a poetic construction-mutable, subjective, and often tinged with nostalgia. Each image serves as both a relic and a requiem, creating a shared utopia where both remain immortal.
