🔵Armed Forces Day is a national holiday in Egypt, celebrated on October 6. It commemorates the 1973 War, also known as the October War, when Egypt and Syria fought against Israel. The war began on October 6, 1973 and lasted for three weeks. It was a watershed moment in the Arab-Israeli conflict, and resulted in a resumption of the peace process.☮️
