A suspected thief has allegedly been caught and subjected to a rough haircut by angry residents after he was accused of stealing a pumping machine and two gas cylinders at Konongo Bomeriso in the Ashanti Region.

According to residents who confronted the suspect, he had allegedly been involved in several theft incidents within the community and had repeatedly stolen from residents.

The situation reportedly escalated when the suspect was allegedly caught in possession of a pumping machine and two gas cylinders believed to have been stolen.

Angry young men in the community reportedly mobbed the suspect and gave him a rough haircut as a form of punishment before the matter could be formally dealt with.

I wanted to make a call - Suspected thief tasered and pepper-sprayed after trying to steal from car garage

A suspected thief reportedly received a shocker and was sprayed with pepper spray after he was allegedly caught attempting to steal from a parked vehicle at a car garage.

According to a social user Kobby who shared the video online, the suspect was spotted entering one of the vehicles parked at the garage, raising suspicion among people in the area.

When questioned about his presence inside the car, the suspect reportedly claimed that he's not the owner.

However, when further questioned, he allegedly changed his explanation, saying he had received an important phone call and entered one of the parked cars simply to sit down and make the call properly.

His explanation reportedly failed to convince those around, prompting them to contact security personnel.

The suspect was subsequently apprehended and placed in handcuffs while security personnel questioned him over his presence at the garage.

In an attempt to get him to confess, the security personnel allegedly used a stun device and pepper spray on the suspect.

The angry miners descended on the suspect’s motorcycle after accusing him of trying to steal from the mining site.

In a video circulating on social media, the miners are seen repeatedly hitting the motorcycle with heavy pieces of wood, causing significant damage to the vehicle.

The situation later took a more destructive turn as the miners reportedly set the motorcycle ablaze, completely burning it.
