👑 The Queen Elisabeth Competition is placed under the High Patronage of Her Majesty Queen Mathilde.

As part of this role, Her Majesty the Queen has been regularly present as from the first round of the 2026 Cello Competition, in order to encourage and support the candidates.

🎵📻🔊🎥 'Cello 2026' Closing concert featuring the First, Second, and Third Prize winners, will be broadcast:

• Live on Wednesday 10 June at 20:15 on Belgian radios RTBF Musiq3 and Klara, on TV on Ketnet, and online on VRT MAX
• On TV (RTBF La Trois) and online (RTBF Auvio) on Saturday 13 June
• On TV (VRT 1) on Sunday 5 July
