En live, cela se traduit par une traversée sonore dense et physique, où le son s’édifie couche après couche, créant une masse vibrante de rythmes, de textures et de souffles en tension…

Programmés par Valentina Magaletti à Le Guess Who le 8.11, ils continueront leur route à Bruxelles (a.claus) et Paris (le Sample) les 14 et 15 Nov.

‘the ears of animals’ by Bitsy Knox & Roger 3000 is out now! 💚

Available on vinyl and digital download on Bandcamp and to stream on all streaming platforms.

Bitsy Knox and Roger 3000 worked on this record over the last few years. It began with an ill-fated correspondence and dawn chorus field recordings. It was transformed by nascent heartbreak, learning how to be alone, and how to be less afraid. It comes out of many studio deep-dives, and the kinds of conversations and jokes shared between two friends who have known each other through many different chapters of life.

They recorded and produced ‘the ears of animals’ in Julien’s home studio in Forest, Brussels, but its sounds have traveled from coastal British Columbia via the streets of Berlin and Brussels.

Last Friday was the official release of Hymnos, a sound piece created by Claudia Radulescu. The release party took place in Bastogne, where Claudia presented the anthem to the city during a ceremony. We met some fantastic people there. It was an intense and warm experience.

HYMNOS by Claudia Radulescu is a sound installation that was presented in 1999 in a park in the Antwerp region that was experiencing the rise of the extreme right. The melody, composed by Michel Hatzigeorgiou, draws on national anthems and symphonic themes, tinged with rebetiko. In 2020, it was revived in Elisabeth Park, Bastogne, during her solo show at the city’s contemporary art center, the Orangerie. Broadcast over six months, the sound settled into the landscape and began to resonate with the city. On 12 September 2025, for the 80th anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge, Claudia decides to gift the work to Bastogne. A vinyl release brings together the original recordings and new interpretations by musicians connected to moli del tro and local residents. Hymnos is a permanent work, an anthem offered to the community.
