28.06 Paris Ideal Trouble
Today sees the release of Objets enchâssés dans un anneau planétaire by Accident du Fantôme, a collaboration between 𝓐𝓬𝓬𝓲𝓭𝓮𝓷𝓽 𝓭𝓾 𝓣𝓻𝓪𝓿𝓪𝓲𝓵 and 𝓕𝓪𝓷𝓽ô𝓶𝓮 𝓙𝓸𝓼𝓮𝓹𝓱𝓪.
Julie (Ondes Martenot), Josepha (harp), Arnaud (12-string guitar) and Olivier (keyboards, organ, effects) gathered in a village in the Meuse region in early 2025 for a week of collective creation.
The recording took place in a church housing a restored 18th-century pipe organ. The silence of the hamlet and the site’s distinctive reverberation, both luminous and deep, made it possible to capture six hours of meditative, occasionally dissonant music, unfolding over extended durations.
The result takes the form of a long, immersive journey, fragile, deeply human and handcrafted in its making, at the crossroads of ambient, drone, gothic and more cinematic forms.
