24/07/2025

This panel will explore how peak performance can be supported through science-based, natural approaches that promote physical and mental well-being. Sport is more than a game. At its best, it is a school of life: teaching discipline, courage, teamwork, fairness, and joy. It shows us how to win with humility, lose with dignity, and strive for excellence without losing integrity. In this panel, we will ask: What can we, as leaders and as a society, learn from the timeless values of sport — and how can we preserve its beauty in an
era of commercial pressures?

• Mr. Roland Angst, President, United Leaders Association Germany
• Dr. Bernhard Heusler, Honorary President of FC Basel, Leadership-Expert and Speaker
• Mr. Alex Frei, Former Professional Footballer, Swiss National Team, Switzerland
• Ms. Martina Voss-Tecklenburg, Former Head Coach of the German Women’s National
Football Team; 4 x UEFA Women’s European Champion
• Mr. Philipp Kaufmann, Former Soccer Manager, VfL Osnabrück and FC Basel
• Moderator: Mr. Thomas Helmer, Former German professional football player, Euro
1996 winner, Sports Moderator

24/07/2025

In today’s world, where success is often defined by speed, power, and measurable results, the question of ethics and integrity has never been more urgent. We will ask: Can success truly endure if it comes at the expense of our core values? And more importantly: What does it take to lead — and win — with integrity in a high-pressure world?

The Ethics in Sports Award 2025

In sport, we celebrate the fastest, the strongest — the ones who break records.

But there is another kind of greatness.

The greatness of character.
Of standing for what’s right — even when no one is watching.
Of choosing fairness over shortcuts.
Of leading not just to win — but to uplift.

This is the spirit we honor at the Ethics in Sports Award.

This year, we honor two extraordinary individuals — one woman and one man — whose lives are living proof that ethics, integrity, and compassion can transform not only sports, but the world. From fair play to fearless leadership, from service to community to global impact — they show us what it means to lead with purpose.

🌍 At the 7th World Summit on Ethics & Leadership in Sports, we don’t just ask what success looks like — We ask what kind of success is worth celebrating.

Can you guess who our Ethics in Sports Award winners are this year?
Drop your predictions in the comments — we’ll reveal the names live at the Summit!

The 7th World Summit on Ethics & Leadership in Sports is happening TOMORROW – 24 July in Volkshaus Basel, Switzerland!

We’re thrilled to share a glimpse of the conference program — for full details, please visit our website. We cannot wait to welcome you all soon!

What Can We Learn from Sport — For Life?

In the arena of sport, we find more than competition.
We find resilience — the courage to rise after a fall.
We find grace in defeat, and humility in victory.
We discover the strength to lead, the art of teamwork,
and the wisdom to keep going… through storms and sunshine alike.

Champions aren’t only defined by medals.
They’re defined by what they do when the cheering fades —
when glory is behind them, and a new purpose must be found.

Sport teaches us:
💥 How to fail without breaking.
💥 How to win without losing ourselves.
💥 How to lead and be a team player.
💥 How to keep moving forward — even when the path is steep.
💥 How to begin again. And again. And again.

At the 7th World Summit on Ethics & Leadership in Sports — tomorrow — you’ll meet athletes, Olympians, coaches, and global leaders who’ve walked this path and returned with life-changing wisdom. Their stories will inspire your leadership, your resilience, your next step.

📍 24 July 2025 | Basel, Switzerland
🌍 Held alongside the UEFA Women’s EURO Championship

In sport — as in life — time is everything.

It can be your fiercest rival… or your greatest ally.
A breath too slow, and history slips through your fingers.
A second faster, and you become a legend.

Time can crush — or it can crown.
It doesn’t wait… but it rewards those who move with courage.

✨ Your time is NOW.

There’s still a window — a precious one — to join us at the
7th World Summit on Ethics & Leadership in Sports,
this week in Basel, alongside the UEFA Women’s EURO 2025.

Come stand where sports legends, Olympic icons, global changemakers, and values-driven leaders meet.
Come listen, learn, and be part of a movement where integrity, excellence, and inspiration lead the way.

🎯 This is your chance to be in the arena.
Because greatness doesn’t just belong to athletes.
It belongs to anyone who chooses to show up with heart.
