We remember Sofia Corradi, the brilliant mind and warm heart behind Erasmus. She once faced the frustration of studying abroad in New York, only to see her hard-earned credits go unrecognized. Instead of giving up, she turned that challenge into a dream: a Europe where students could learn across borders without losing anything, where studying abroad meant opportunity, not obstacles.

Her persistence and vision gave life to Erasmus in 1987, a program that has since touched over 15 million students, letting them explore new cultures and friendships that shape a lifetime. Every student who has packed a suitcase for study in Europe carries a piece of her legacy.

Sofia Corradi showed us that one person’s idea can change the lives of millions, and bring Europe closer together, not just through politics, but through learning, curiosity, and connection.

Latest polls show the opposition leading with 53%, while Orbán’s party falls to 35%. Hungarians are saying loud and clear: enough with the lies, isolation, and anti-EU rhetoric.

Under Orbán:
👉 Hungary’s GDP per capita is 25% below the EU average
👉 Growth forecast for 2025: only 0.8%
👉 €20+ billion in EU funds remain frozen due to rule-of-law concerns

🇪🇺 A new Hungary is possible. A Hungary that stands strong with Europe, not against it. A Hungary that invests in its people, not in propaganda.

Today the European Commission presented the “Preserving Peace — Defence Readiness Roadmap 2030”: a fast-track plan to kick-start industrial defence capacity from early 2026 and achieve readiness by 2030.

Good, but not enough. Waiting until 2030 to truly guarantee our security is a risk we cannot afford. We need a Federal Europe with a common defence budget, coordinated industrial policy and a European Army to guarantee collective security and rapid, interoperable response.

This roadmap proves Europe can act together on industry, procurement and resilience. Now let’s finish the job: democratic federal institutions, pooled sovereignty on defence, and the political will to defend our values and people, today, not tomorrow. 🇪🇺
