"Dear fellow citizens,

Once again, we have woken up to a new statement from the American president, who has now appointed a special envoy to Greenland. It may sound significant, but it does not change anything for us here at home.

We decide our own future. Greenland is our country. We have our own democracy, our own decisions, and a strong community that stands firm. Greenland belongs to the Greenlandic
people, and territorial integrity must be respected.

We are happy to cooperate with other countries, including the United States, but this must always be done with respect for us and for our values and wishes.

There is no reason for concern. We stand together, and we stand firm.

Take good care of one another as we approach Christmas."

Europe just took another step toward being a real Union. 🇪🇺

The European Court of Justice has ruled that all EU member states must recognise same-sex marriages lawfully performed in another member state, even if their national laws do not allow same-sex marriage.

This is bigger than marriage law.
It’s about what the EU is supposed to be.

➡️ Equal rights that don’t stop at borders
➡️ Citizenship that means something everywhere in Europe

You cannot have a Union where your family exists in one country and disappears in another. You cannot call it a single market, a single space, a shared citizenship while fundamental rights change at every border.

That’s what a European Federation looks like.

Europe is strongest when it acts as one political community, not 27 parallel moral universes.

More Europe means more protection, more equality, more freedom, for everyone. 🇪🇺
