A sample to sample without moderation, apparently 🤔😅
With a little attention, you'll realize that we're hearing it a lot these days 🤣.
I'm going to be less frequent in the Jump/Tek scene.
I must say that, like many people, I no longer identify with the scene: the audience has changed, but so has the overall perception of music.
I find that right now, it really lacks soul and story.
Hard music isn't just about kicks! In my opinion, a song is still a song: it has to tell a story, and even if it's more of a heavy-duty style (more Tek, etc.), it has to convey an emotion.
Unfortunately, this is no longer really the case in what's being done today, nor in what works.
Only covers (remixes) done for the twentieth time continue to touch the public...
The most unfortunate thing about all this is that there are so many guys, friends, colleagues, acquaintances, ultra-talented, a thousand times more creative than all these crooks who don't do a quarter of their work.
These artists dare to offer new things while maintaining a pure style, old-school Jump/Tek, but also fresh and high-quality...
In short, we won't change the world.
I wish a lot of courage to those who continue.
As long as your passion is there, keep making it appreciated, even if it's to a minority, as we can see.
Our generation is unfortunately no longer 20 years old, and is no longer as active or interested as it used to be.
But at least your music is still appreciated...
For my part, I'll be less present, because the passion is no longer there. But I'm not disappearing; I'll only continue when the desire to do some hard music is there, and for my own personal enjoyment.
In the meantime, I'm having fun with a different style that I've always really enjoyed, and which has had a great influence on my Jump/Tek tracks and on my style itself.
Good luck to everyone: friends, acquaintances, labels, production colleagues...
For now, we're saying goodbye, but not farewell 😉🤟
