Today, American indie-rock outfit Other Lives deliver their brand new demos album, 'Sheerar Sessions' – out now via Play It Again Sam. The album features demo versions of tracks from their latest album 'Volume V' which came out in October last year.

Other Lives’ frontman Jesse Tabish: “The Sheerar is one of the first churches built in Stillwater Oklahoma… my grandmother had taken me to a Beethoven concert there when I was a kid and that memory had not left me when we decided to come back to our hometown and record Volume V. The gracious folks of the Sheerar let us use it as our studio! The kindness of our fellow Okies. Here’s the first musings of the tracks. Hope you enjoy.”

'LOVE' is the first Dexys Midnight Runners album since 1985, and it carries a lifetime with it. Out September 4 via HEAVENLY RECORDINGS.

First single 'My Life In England Pt. 1' is the opening chapter. Drawn from Kevin Rowland's own life. He grew up second generation Irish in north-west London, watching adults draw the curtains in a social club and sing a song his mother said wasn't allowed in England. These are the memories that shaped him. Family, loss, late-life romance and reconciliation. All of it is here.

Gurriers are back with a question: if not us, then who? 'NOBODY'S COMING TO SAVE YOU' is the title track from their second album (out September 25 via Play It Again Sam).

Jagged guitars, pounding rhythms and a vocal delivery that balances exhaustion with defiance.

Produced by Mark Bowen (Idles) and Loren Humphrey, it's the sound of a band scaling everything up and refusing to look away.

"It felt like living inside a film for two months. I’m a romantic by nature”, he says. England brought out something in him he hadn't shown before. Fragile, intimate songs written on the verge of marriage — chiseled until every detail fell into place.
