We close off the year with the project ‘les mains de nos voisins’. In Peterbos and Moortebeek, sixty children and adults worked side by side with four artists, exploring their own streets and stories. It resulted in a sculpture garden, textile work, an embroidered landscape and many moments of shared soup.

“Small gestures of care”, the mobile installation by MUS-E artists , Ann Weckx and Justine Maxelon, is currently spread across three floors of Huize Sint-Monika’s staircase. During the opening on November 14, many curious .sint.monika residents and visitors came by to discover the work.

Happy Time – visual installation @ Ars Musica 2025 ｡𖦹°‧

What does happiness look like? MUS-E Belgium teamed up with children and young people in search of their own ‘happy times’. This Wednesday, MUS-E launched the intercreation book 2024-25 at . The publication offers a selection of varying projects from the past schoolyear and gives insight into the core values of MUS-E. Since we wanted to emphasize collaboration and ‘intercreation’ at the event, we invited our artists to share their own publications. MUS-E performance artist Lena Van Drie created a 30-meter textile project with students from grades 1 to 6 at . Together, they captured the favorite memories of over 100 children on fabric. After parading through the streets of Brussels during Parade Poétik by , the artwork has now found a permanent home on the school’s iconic yellow staircase, welcoming everyone who enters.
