With offices in Brussels, in Flanders and in Paris, Umedia's VFX division has expanded rapidly, amassing over 40 international film credits to date. Focusing exclusively on feature length works of fiction and television series, our mission is to provide creative solutions in keeping with the director's vision, whilst never losing sight of the bottom line. We are also able to finance up to 60% of t

he overall VFX budget, a unique service we offer in Europe. In Vancouver, accredited productions can access a multitude of tax incentives including the Digital Animation, Visual Effects and Post-Production Tax Credit (DAVE).

🎞️ Did you watch Three Days in a Life? 🎞️

(Re)discover this thriller that's during Christmas 1999, in a peaceful little village in the Ardennes. The life of a young boy named Antoine will soon be devastated by three tragic events : the death of a dog, the vanishing of a child, and a big ravaging storm. A movie on which our UFX artists worked.

Directed by Nicolas Boukhrief, produced by Onzecinq, France 3 Cinéma, Ganapati and La Company de la Seine, in coproduction with Umedia.

Available on Apple Tv+ in VOD.

🎞️ Did you watch The Shadow in my Eye? 🎞️

(Re)discover this true story. During World War II, the fate of several residents of Copenhagen, Denmark, changed when a school was mistakenly bombed during Operation Cathage, led by the Royal Air Force. A movie on which our UFX artists worked.

Directed by Ole Bornedal, produced by Miso Film, in coproduction with Umedia.

👻 Throwback on Halloween at UFX: mission (almost) impossible accomplished! 👻

Our teams took on a spooky escape game challenge to celebrate Halloween, with puzzles, laughter, and a few jump scares along the way 😅. Team spirit (and courage) were definitely part of the game!

Huge shoutout to everyone for playing along and keeping your cool… well, almost! 🕸️

🎬🕸️ At UFX, we don’t fear monsters… we create them.

From eerie shadows to unrecognizable faces, our craft isn’t so different from Halloween itself: turning fear into wonder. With visual effects, we blur the line between reality and imagination, the space where ghosts appear, worlds transform, and the impossible comes alive. 👀

So this October 31st, we raise our (digital) potion glass 🧪 to all the VFX artists who turn chills into emotions.
After all, every great effect starts with a story worth telling. 💀

With 324,628 admissions on its opening weekend, Chien 51, directed by Cédric Jimenez, claims the #1 spot at the French box office.
A strong performance for this dystopian thriller that confirms audiences’ growing appetite for French genre films 🔥

UFX is proud to have contributed to the film’s visual universe, with stunning VFX crafted by our artists, from futuristic environments to dark, atmospheric cityscapes, our teams brought Jimenez’s bold vision to life.
