In the numbing chill of -1ºC, during the Devil’s hour, while sticking the final corner of my CULOSSAL paste-up my phone battery surrendered to the cold.

Enter Malik: a curious stranger intrigued by my nocturnal mission, asking me; “What’s this all about?” I explained it was my book about asses… With enthusiasm, he declared; “I love asses!” and nobly offered to snap these pictures for me.

Moments like this are what make London the glorious madness it is ✨

The global lockdown began in March 2020, due to the spread of the deadly Coronavirus, and has—for everyone–been a very peculiar experience.

During the first 3 months of quarantine, I’ve developed a series of portraits entitled “Seductive Solitude”. It was my personal way of coping with stress and uncertainty, as a reminder that we were all in this together.

To commemorate the first lockdown-anniversary, I’ve decided to publish the complete body of work in this limited edition hardcover book, featuring a total of 45 portraits and words from each cast, on how they've been getting on during their isolation in the form of an intimate journal.

This hardcover book is printed on high quality paper, A4 size and signed.
