Slow summer or FOMO trap? 😅

There’s something about this time of year —
Everything should feel soft and slow…
But as an entrepreneur (and mom, and perfectionist 🤯), I often feel like I should be doing more.

The truth is:
Slowing down doesn’t mean stopping. 🌿
It means checking in. With yourself & what you really, really, really want!

And summer is perfect for that.

✨ Who am I today?
✨ Do I still want to do things this way?
✨ Who do I really want around me?
✨ Am I making time for what truly fuels me?

These are the questions I ask myself at least once a trimester — and I invite every woman I coach to do the same. Because if we don’t shape our lives intentionally… someone else will. And this is not a rehearsal.

After 5 years of WOMADE and now We Rise, one thing is clear:
Your energy, your space, your mindset — they matter more than your strategy.

So maybe this summer isn’t about planning big moves.
Maybe it’s about reconnecting to your mission.
And becoming — again and again — who you really want to be.

For all the women navigating freelance life, building a business, and growing personally (aka doing the most, quietly): here’s a soft moment of pause.

Summer is here 🌞 and at WOMADE, we like to remind you — taking a break is productive.

It’s okay to take the longest route — the one with the better view, the extra rest stops, the moments that don’t feel “productive” but still matter deeply.

So give yourself time, because answers come in stillness.
Don’t rush what you want to last.
Trust the seeds you’re planting.
Believe that good things are always on their way. ✨

Summer is strange — part slowdown, part strategic planning sprint.

And for the past 5 years, I’ve always found myself somewhere in between:
— The kids are on holiday 🌞
— My mind is buzzing with ideas 🧠 (new website, fall planning…)
— And my whole being needs to slow down and reconnect after a full first half of the year (hello, We Rise 2.0 launch and 20+ events!) 💫

So each trimester, I pause — to reflect, re-align, and ask myself:
→ Where am I now?
→ What do I want next?
→ How do I want to feel, work, live?

One of my favorite ways to do this? The vision board.👁️
Not just a pretty collage — but an intentional tool to map out what matters most. A way to decide where to put my time, energy, and heart.

This July, I’m opening up this process in a Vision Board Workshop.
You’ll get the prompts, tools, space (and good vibes) to pause with purpose.

April’s camera roll dump ✨
