GRM - MUSIC EDITIONS - Sheet music publisher - all levels - varied offer Golden River Music werd in 1994 opgericht door Rik Vercruysse.

Established in 1994, Golden River Music aimed in these first years to publish new educational repertoire. And also from the beginning, we decided it should be our challenge to concentrate on the furtherance of Belgian composers. There is a lot of talent in our small country named Belgium, and this message we want to convey more than ever, together with our authors. We still offer offer a comprehen

sive range of printed educational music, but we expanded with concert music for soloist and ensembles, orchestral music, and music for concert band. Producing scores of excellent quality and distributing them around the world through international dealers is what we aspire every day. The Managing Director of Golden River Music, Rik Vercruysse, also pursues a career as a freelance horn player as well as a teacher at the Antwerp Conservatoire. Het was de bedoeling om tegemoet te komen aan de vraag naar nieuw didactisch repertorium. Men ging kleinschalig van start en bij het uitbrengen van de eerste folder werden een 30-tal werken voorgesteld van de hand van een zevental componisten. Sindsdien werd het repertorium verder uitgebreid en momenteel bevat het fonds een 1000 titels en meer dan 70 componisten verlenen ondertussen hun medewerking bij de verdere uitbouw van Golden River Music. Van bij het begin was het de bedoeling een forum te bieden aan Vlaamse en Belgische componisten. GRM zorgt voor de uitgave en verspreiding van hun werk, komt op deze manier tegemoet aan de vraag van het clienteel en stelt op deze manier tevens de verspreiding van de naambekendheid van de componist garant.
