Today marks the official release date for the first single “Char these Bones to Coal” by the Italian Black Metal band Frostmoon Eclipse. The song is taken from their upcoming eight full length album “As Time Retreats” which will be released on 26th of September 2025 on CD, Vinyl & Digital format.

What an absolute fantastic weekend it was at Forest Fest in Switzerland!

A big shout out and thank you to Alain and the whole crew for having us once again and booking 3 of our label bands on Friday.

Shout out to Ars Veneficium, Infernal Angels & Myrkvid for each representing the label roster and performing amazing and intense shows.

Last but certainly not least, thank you to all the fans and visitors who showed up and supported our merchstand, the festival and our signed artists. You are the reason why we keep on going! See you all next year!

Words: Mara’s Sword Of Vengeance is however a more than decent successor to Loko Mær. It all sounds brutal and wonderfully aggressive. The somewhat dusty production does the product full justice, as does the sometimes uncontrolled, chaotic coherence of instruments. For the next record I advise a certain P to choose a different sound palette for the snare, because after just over thirty minutes you are completely hammered silly.

Loko Mær kwam in 2023 uit via het Belgische Immortal Frost Productions. Voor mij was dit werk van de Zweden van Mara een typisch Scandinavisch blackmetalepos met een weliswaar wat stoffige, doch passende productie. De plaat klokte jammerlijk wel af onder de dertig minuten, wat toch erg kort bleek. ...
