Amélie Van Hoorebeke has been working as a promotion manager and product manager for independent record company V2 Records Belgium for the past 10 years and has been working with many bands during that period, such as Bloc Party, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, The Bronx, Lambchop, Calexico, Stereophonics, Calexico, Cold War Kids, Ben Christophers, Tom McRae, Luka Bloom, Blanche, Josh Ritter, The Felice Brothers, Mercury Rev, Fleet Foxes, The Dears, Midlake, Isobel Campbell and Mark Lanegan, Aimee Mann, Simply Red, American Music Club, Black Francis, Billy Bragg, The Charlatans, Broken Social Scene, Jose James, Martha Wainwright, Jim White, Patrick Watson, Elbow, Underworld, Paul Weller, Grandaddy, Alex Gopher, Etienne de Crecy, Chocolate Genius, The Black Keys, The Tindersticks, Dizzee Rascal, Basement Jaxx, Nada Surf, Chromeo, Ron Sexsmith, The Datsuns, Spinvis, Fixkes, Thé Lau, Zap Mama, Freaky Age and many more… She has been running Gentlepromotion for almost 10 years now.
Géraldine Merchiers joined the Gentlepromotion team in June 2011. Géraldine has worked in the music industry for the past 7 years and knows all the ins and outs of the music industry. She started as a promotion manager for Edel and worked with bands like Ash, Goo Goo Dolls and Craig David. It wasn’t too long before Gentlemanagement recruited her as manager assistant, where she worked with bands like Gabriel Rios, Selah Sue, A Brand and Racoon for 5 years. She decided to move on in June 2018 and will be dearly missed
Charlotte Van der Goten joined the Gentlepromotion team in September 2018. Charlotte has been working in the music industry for the past 8 years now. She started at the TV channel JIM, serving as one of the contacts of the channel's main record labels and working at festivals for the popular TV show Festivalitis as well as at big events like The Big Live, the JIMMIES and many more. Following her adventures at JIM, she joined the Film Fest Gent team for the 2014 edition. After that, she decided to go back to the music business and became label manager for V2 Records, where she got to work with bands like Mumford & Sons, Moby, The Sore Losers, Nordmann, Douglas Firs, Gruppo di Pawlowski, among many others.
