Final weeks of “Painting after Painting”, the exhibition at S.M.A.K. in Ghent.
One of the 70 artists featured in the exhibition is Dieter Durinck, with whom we created a book entitled ‘Bootleg Paintings’ in 2023.

is also one of the artists participating in “Performances by Night” on Saturday 11 October at S.M.A.K., starting at 7.30 pm.

Be Part, Tatjana Pieters Gallery and Posture Editions join forces to create a publication featuring work by Ria Bosman.
Ria presents a series of drawings in acrylic paint on paper, all created between 2020 and 2025 in A3 sketchbooks.
Some are preliminary studies for monumental textile weavings, others are part of Ria’s
research into form and the reaction of colour to colour.
The book “Overwegingen” [Considerations] contains a selection of 75 drawings. Exercises in thought and balance in which Ria refines the composition through repetition, shifts in form and variations in colour.

The writer Marieke De Maré – winner of the Confituur Boekhandelsprijs 2025 – writes a story to accompany the work, in which Cadmium Red, Prussian Blue, Indian Yellow, Pale Umber and Hooker’s Green play the leading roles.

Jan De Vylder will present the installation PAINTINGS ON A MAGAZINE and Christopher Van Gerrewey will interview him about his work (in English).

Architect-artist Jan De Vylder has been systematically overpainting De Standaard Magazine with white paint every week for quite some time now. Posture Editions assembled a selection from the more than 1,000 overpaintings into a reference work where the many spreads from the magazines play with the hidden or obscured in a radical way and where the viewer is encouraged to look for the subtle differences within the almost nothing.

We finally celebrated our years of beautiful collaboration with Stien in company of some artists with whom she had a close working relationship.

‘I must drink all the water’ Valgerður Sigurðardóttir

Take this as the best advice while the Icelandic artist prepares her solo exhibition in Reykjavik

The book - published by Posture Editions - features a number of drawings of childlike families, automobiles, speechless parrots, a foot on the accelerator, colourful tents and a dog on the run. A woman looks in the mirror or turns her gaze away from the book.
Vala shapes this universe with pencil or oil pastel on paper and with glaze on ceramics.
Koen Sels writes about drawing, thinking and dreaming.

We’re happy to share that we were recently able to recover a small stock of Paul Gees’ book “Ohne Warum”, a 2012 publication that had been out of print with us for many years.
It is a book from the Posture early years that offers a selective overview of the rich work of sculptor, performer and draughtsman Paul Gees (b. 1949).

We are happy to announce that our book “oei” by Guy Rombouts received the 2nd price, ‘mention spéciale du jury, Prix Bob Calle du livre d’artiste 2025’.

Ceremony, opening party and exhibition at Beaux Arts de Paris.
Thanks to Carine Bienfait for the nomination and thanks to the association Prix Bob Calle.

The whole selection of 50 nominated books will be exhibited during one month at the Bibliothèque des Beaux-Arts de Paris.
