Posture Editions and Be-Part can’t wait to present the result of their collaboration with Henk Visch: an EXHIBITION and a BOOK!

For the EXHIBITION ‘Ik was getrouwd met een aap’, Henk Visch brought together a selection of existing works alongside newly created sculptures and drawings, arranged in an inspiring installation in the Paardenstallen Be-Part Kortrijk.

The BOOK ‘Henk Visch—Cosmic Dance’ features a text by Barbara De Coninck, based on numerous interviews with the artist.
Alongside numerous supporting images, the book contains an extensive visual section of sculptures and drawings—a selection of Henk’s practice spanning some 50 years—as well as installation views of the exhibition spaces in Kortrijk.

We spent a hot summer working on *Henk Visch – Cosmic Dance*, a 288-page book featuring more than 170 images of sculptures, drawings and unique historical photographs.
The backbone of the book is a text written by Barbara De Coninck, based on recent interviews with the artist.
The book will be launched at the exhibition ‘Ik was getrouwd met een aap’, where Henk Visch created a large-scale installation tailored to the exhibition spaces at Be-Part in Kortrijk.

Two of our featured artists are taking part in the summer exhibition ‘Clay matters’ with recent ceramic works: Pei-Hsuan Wang and Valgerður Sigurðardóttir (Vala).
—Sometimes art really hits the nail on the head; Vala’s book title couldn’t be more topical given the heatwave currently sweeping across large parts of Europe—

A wonderful exhibition by Carole Vanderlinden is currently on view
In 2013, we produced the book *NOCTURNE* with Carole and organised the first museum exhibition of her work
In 2017, we followed this up with the book *MON SEUL DÉSIR*.
Both books bring together works on paper centred around a narrative about writers, painters, philosophers and other Dadaists, written by Hans Theys.
We are delighted to be part of Carole’s artistic journey.
Unfortunately, both of our books are sold out, but to coincide with the S.M.A.K. exhibition, Carole’s latest book, *Bad Manners*, was being published .press vdlinden

Bendt Eyckermans, observed by Nikolaas Demoen whilst he paints ‘The Pole’.
The painting is currently on view in Bendt’s solo exhibition at Carlos/Ishikawa London, and is also featured in the book ‘Bendt Eyckermans. Selected Works 2020–2025’, Posture Editions No. 62.
