Ojoo are intimate nights with dedicated DJ's playing whatever they like for a crowd where everyone can feel welcome.

In Ghent dialect, you say “ojoo” to express joy and wonder, especially to share those feelings with others around you; this is the spirit that defines Ojoo Music. A series of events bringing forward-thinking underground electronic music with a sincere passion for vinyl. We need our music to be challenging and innovative and hold a high appreciation for artistic individuality (as opposed to hypes o

r trends) with the utmost respect for the veteran artists who over the years continuously maintain a standard that we greatly appreciate. We need a connection between artist and dancer, so the small and intimate venues is where you will find us. RECORD LABEL
The idea of creating a platform that supports artists we stand for would not be complete without an opportunity to share their music with the world. To offer this, we started with the record label to release music that we believe should be heard and shared for people to enjoy, clubbers to dance and DJ's to play. The passion for the original craft of spinning tunes, that certain pleasure in the effort when playing and a love for the classic physical format has led us to release on vinyl only. In the summer of 2019, our first EP ‘Club Rotation’ by ‘Session 4000’ was released. The second one is planned in October 2019 by resident and fixed value ‘Gols’ who is highly cherished by our most loyal dancers and since recently holds a residency at Belgium's most respected club ‘Fuse’ in Brussels. Meteorological spring has begun.
Longer days, softer light, and fresh energy in the air. For this new chapter of Good Fruit, we welcome Moustie, a young Brussels-based selector and part of the Slow Riders collective. Rooted in the city but moving at his own tempo, he builds patiently. This mix feels like the first warm afternoon of the year, gentle, glowing, quietly uplifting. Fresh fruit from Brussels soil. 🍊

Born beneath a waxing moon in ’97, Marvin grew up charged with unstoppable energy and an insatiable musical hunger. Guided by his father’s eclectic spirit and his own restless curiosity, he became a musical medium—channelling everything from early club spectres to contemporary down-tempo phantoms. After five years of relentless devotion, he ascended to Funke residency, forever binding him to the decks of destiny.

Marvin has already conjured a Good Fruit podcast, dare to listen to the snippets… if you can handle what waits in the groove.

From the shadowy basements of Ghent’s record dens emerges Krifa, crate-digger, collector, and sonic sorcerer of the weird and wonderful. As a long-time Music Mania curator, he’s forever drawn to rhythms that lurk outside the ordinary: dusty breaks that crawl under your skin, drums that strike like thunder in the dark, grooves smooth enough to lull you into a trance before the floor beneath you begins to shift… For Good Fruit’s Halloween edition, Krifa slips into his most mysterious form, summoning the jazzy, funky and laid-back spirits buried deep in his collection. Beware: these sounds may haunt you long after the night is over.

For those who don’t know me yet, I’m Méni (fka Menica, Sundae Sue), founder of this little universe we’ve been building together.

My journey started with a deep love for jazz, funk, soul, and R&B, and over the years, I naturally drifted into the world of electronic music through parties in Ghent and Brussels. What’s always been most important to me is the bond between artist and dancer, that magic connection we create together on the floor.

That philosophy led me to start Ojoo Music back in 2017, and later Good Fruit in 2020, a podcast and event series for slowing down, listening deeply, and sharing good energy.

From past residencies at Fuse to my current home at Funke, I’ve carried one thing with me: music is best when it’s shared with friends, dancers, and dreamers.

I can’t wait to bring that energy to our last open air of the season on Saturday and dance it out with all of you. 🤸‍♀️💚

With a record bag that speaks louder than trends, Vera has carved her place as one of the most respected selectors in the underground. Guided purely by intuition, her sets weave timeless sounds into fluid narratives, raw, elegant, and always unexpected.

Rooted in the golden age of house and techno, she’s been behind the decks since the early ’90s, carrying over a decade of deep experience into every space she touches. From intimate floors to some of the world’s most vital clubs like Robert Johnson, Panorama Bar, Fabric, Rex, Goa, and DC-10, her presence leaves a lasting imprint.

A true vinyl devotee, Vera’s focus lies not in genres or peak-time bombs, but in the atmosphere, tension, and story she builds each night.

Based in Berlin, she channels her vision into her own imprint Melliflow, curating forward-thinking sounds and hosting regular nights at Club der Visionäre, one of her most beloved homes.

Vera remains a rare presence: understated yet magnetic, classic yet forward-looking. An artist who lets the music speak, and always keeps the dancefloor guessing.
