Ojoo are intimate nights with dedicated DJ's playing whatever they like for a crowd where everyone can feel welcome.

In Ghent dialect, you say “ojoo” to express joy and wonder, especially to share those feelings with others around you; this is the spirit that defines Ojoo Music. A series of events bringing forward-thinking underground electronic music with a sincere passion for vinyl. We need our music to be challenging and innovative and hold a high appreciation for artistic individuality (as opposed to hypes o

r trends) with the utmost respect for the veteran artists who over the years continuously maintain a standard that we greatly appreciate. We need a connection between artist and dancer, so the small and intimate venues is where you will find us. RECORD LABEL
The idea of creating a platform that supports artists we stand for would not be complete without an opportunity to share their music with the world. To offer this, we started with the record label to release music that we believe should be heard and shared for people to enjoy, clubbers to dance and DJ's to play. The passion for the original craft of spinning tunes, that certain pleasure in the effort when playing and a love for the classic physical format has led us to release on vinyl only. In the summer of 2019, our first EP ‘Club Rotation’ by ‘Session 4000’ was released. The second one is planned in October 2019 by resident and fixed value ‘Gols’ who is highly cherished by our most loyal dancers and since recently holds a residency at Belgium's most respected club ‘Fuse’ in Brussels. 🌀 Introducing Venus News Network aka Alexander, selector, curator, chef, and the mind behind Childhood intelligence.

Recognition moves quietly. For artists like Alexander, it often speaks through the act of creating: subtle shifts in form, tone, and energy that build into something lasting. With a foundation in fashion design and a considered sense of aesthetics, Alexander has nurtured Childhood Intelligence into more than just a label; it has grown into a multifaceted platform for timeless, genre-defying music. Since its inception, Childhood Intelligence has cultivated a distinct visual and sonic identity, merging esoteric electronics, deep-rooted storytelling, and explorations of self into over 20 vinyl releases. Each one invites dedicated listening, slow discovery, and thoughtful reflection. This isn’t music for the moment, it’s music to return to. A carefully built archive that’s both cryptic and generous, embedded with layers, intent, and intuition. The label resists trends while remaining deeply plugged into the pulse of underground culture, balancing nostalgia with futurism.

Beyond the label, Alexander is a precise selector, curator, and trained chef, an individual who approaches creativity holistically, with the same care whether in the kitchen, the studio, or behind the decks. His outlook is sincere, unpretentious, and quietly visionary. Rather than demanding attention, his world extends an invitation: to listen deeply, to observe with patience, and to enter a space where introspection and playfulness meet.

Childhood Intelligence isn’t just a record label, it’s a reflection of a personal universe. One still unfolding, waiting to be explored.

🌿✨ Welcoming Diogo Lacerda to the Good Fruit universe ✨🌿

Lilás, the creative project of Portuguese, Ghent-based artist Diogo Lacerda, named after the Portuguese word for “purple,” began as a radio show for Collect Radio in Lisbon and has grown into a creative platform and DIY music label.

For Diogo, a multidisciplinary artist, Lilás became a much-needed sanctuary, an alternative to the usual clubbing spaces, where different skills could come together and music could be shared freely, without boundaries or expectations. Here, you’re invited to slow down and appreciate sounds, flavours, visuals, and artistic expressions of all kinds. Above all, Lilás is a welcoming space for artistic collaborations and exploration, a quiet reflection of Diogo’s vision and passions.

Even with the rain coming down, nothing could stop the energy we all shared. If anything, it made it even more magical.

Based in Belgium but resonating far beyond, Yentl. brings over 15 years of digging and sharing evocative, genre-spanning music from acid house, electro, and techno to dub techno, downtempo, jazz, and beyond.
With a deep sense of curation, Yentl crafts soundscapes that are both introspective and dancefloor-ready, always soulful, boundary-pushing, and rooted in connection. Her sets flow with intention, weaving emotional narratives whether in a club, on air, or in other immersive spaces.
She holds down residencies at Funke and Gimic Radio, where she consistently highlights artists who share her passion for music as a transformative force. Additionally, she curates the event series Odd Occurrence, a platform for deep, peculiar, and heartfelt sounds, featuring dedicated artists such as XDB, So-Fi, Enrica Falqui, and more.

This Sunday at Good Fruit X Fleurs De Bruxelles, we’re delighted to welcome islas, the sonic project of Ailsa Cavers. With roots in visual arts and a deep love for texture and tone, Islas crafts immersive soundscapes where ASMR whispers, cinematic fragments, ambient loops, and field recordings gently unfold.

Co-founder of the PLANET collective and part of the beloved Basic Moves family, Islas invites us into a world of subtle friction and slow bloom, where spoken word meets delay, and birdsong dances with forgotten melodies. Perfectly tuned for a soft Sunday drift.

The leaves are falling, and nature's colors are shifting—it's officially fall, our favorite time of year. What better moment to introduce our new 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗙𝗿𝘂𝗶𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀, curated just for your listening pleasure. With fresh designs by Julie de Vrieze and a blend of mixes from both familiar and emerging talents, we're excited to share this journey with you.

Kicking off the series is 𝗠𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗻, a young Parisian artist with a relentless passion. After eight months of perseverance and dedication, it’s finally time to release his stunning ambient mix.

"I am a visual designer living in Paris. I have been collecting records for more than ten years, focusing on electronic music and jazz. I fell into the ambient rabbit hole during the COVID lockdowns. This mix synthesises my most cherished and spiritual records, blending sci-fi, organic and dreamy textures. Menica has carved out a distinctive niche in the music scene with her dynamic sets and iconic Ghent-based parties. Her musical journey began with a deep love for jazz, rhythm & blues, funk, and soul that shaped her enduring passion for infectious grooves. Growing up during the emergence of the Belgian electronic music scene, she naturally transitioned to mixing and performing electronic music at parties in Ghent and Brussels.

For Menica, the bond between the artist and the dancer is paramount. This philosophy led her to establish Ojoo Music in 2017, a platform where she curates events and releases that celebrate diverse electronic sounds, strongly emphasising artistic individuality and movement. She meticulously chooses venues that foster this artist-dancer connection, ensuring that her events are always intimate and full of character. By discovering and showcasing emerging talents, she’s cultivating a vibrant community of artists, dancers, and friends united by a shared love for boundless electronic music.

In 2022, she was a resident at Fuse Brussels, Belgium’s longest-running techno club. Today, she holds a residency at Funke, an art space, bar, and club in Ghent.

Tomorrow she'll set the tone in the garden, arrive early, stay late!
