We're 6 months into 2025 and we can look back at a busy first half of the year.

8 releases in 6months. It's a lot, but we can only look back with a lot of pride and admiration for everyone that helped pull this off.

About time we'd give some well deserved thanks to everyone involved in last Friday's epic show at Dunk!festival.

A special show for thisquietarmy involving a 4 piece band in the majestical setting of the theaterzaal of De Vooruit in Ghent.

650 red velvet seats that were filled with people and fans that got a show they won't forget for a while.

Thank you Dunk!festival for making this happen.

In less than a week thisquietarmy will do something special during the 20th anniversary edition of Dunk!festival here in Ghent. It's not only Dunk's anniversary, but we're also celebrating 20 years of Eric making noise on a (let's be honest) other level.

After releasing Langue Hybride a while ago (have you checked it out yet?) he is bringing this to the majestical Theaterzaal (seriously, look up pictures of that venue) and he won't be alone. He is performing with a full band this time.

Loops, drones, strings, you name it, this performance will be one for the books.

We are excited, TQA is excited, Dunk is excited. In other words, it's not too late to grab a ticket for Friday (or a combi) and you can also catch Cult Of Luna, Exxasens, Slow Crush, Pijn and many others.

In anticipation of the release of the new genune record on May 17th we can offer you a sneak peak at this wonderful record. We teamed up with Invisible Oranges to give you a first listen to the track Stay A Little Longer.

Invisible Oranges had this to say about it: "The liner notes for Genune’s third album Infinite Presence imply that it’s bittersweet. The Romanian black metal group writes that it “is the product of the most radiant hope and the deepest absence,” prompting the image of extremes grinding against each other, and their blend of atmospheric black metal, shoegaze, and post-rock supports that on paper. You'd expect the jagged edges to clash with the optimism. However, Genune's latest single, “Stay a Little Longer,” melds hope and absence into a simultaneous sensation".

Meanwhile the band itself said this about the album: "'Stay a Little Longer’ is about witnessing illness and struggle in someone you love and being unable to help. Lyrically, it contrasts descriptions of psychological struggle imposed over the desire for the simplicity and tranquility of everyday life. The music follows the same progression, with the earlier parts of the song being aggressive and dissonant and switching to a more melodic stage as the desire for normality is invoked. The last part of the song was at the time I wrote it, an attempt at representing depression resolving into a return to harmony."
