In anticipation of the new YODOK III album Nidarosdomen being released tomorrow, September 19th, we already received a review from the kind people at Avant Music News that perfectly describes what you're about to hear tomorrow.
You can read the full review below, but most of all, listen to the album tomorrow. This album was recorded as a 54 minute improvised set at Nidarosdomen Cathedral in Trondheim. And the main thing about that cathredral is the organ that consists out of 9600 pipes that create vibrations that are so well used on this recording.
YODOK III is the moniker of the exciting collaboration between Norwegians Tomas Järmyr (also Zu, Barchan), Kristoffer Lo and the Belgian minimal ambient artist Dirk Serries (also Microphonics, Fear Falls Burning, VidnaObmana, …).
What you get is an experimentation of post-rock, ambient, improvised jazz, soundscapes but most of all a musical spirital journey that will leave you stunned.
