We arrived in San José! San José is the largest town and unofficial “capital” of the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park in Andalusia, Spain. Located about a 35-minute drive from Almería, this former 18th-century fishing village has transformed into a charming, low-rise tourist hub surrounded by dramatic volcanic mountains and Europe’s only desert landscape.
¡Hemos llegado a San José! San José es la ciudad más grande y la “capital” no oficial del Parque Natural Cabo de Gata-Níjar, en Andalucía, España. Situada a unos 35 minutos en coche de Almería, esta antigua aldea de pescadores del siglo XVIII se ha transformado en un encantador centro turístico de edificios bajos, rodeado de impresionantes montañas volcánicas y el único paisaje desértico de Europa.
