Exciting news 🎬✨Conquering Lion Pictures and Potemkino are pleased to announce that principal photography is wrapped on the elevated psychological thriller, Steal Away, directed by Clement Virgo (Brother, The Book of Negroes).

The film, a Canada-Belgium co-production, stars (Mean Girls, Mare of Easttown, Spider-Man: No Way Home, The Nice Guys), (Kindred, Genius MLK/X), (The Shape of Water, The L Word ), .idrissa (The Boys, Titans, The Fire Inside).

The screenplay, penned by Tamara Faith Berger (Lie With Me) and Virgo, is inspired by the non-fiction book Steal Away Home by Karolyn Smardz Frost.

It has been an honour to work with Terence Davies. A rare talent, a gentle man with a clear vision and deep understanding of beauty. Shooting A Quiet Passion with him, his producers Roy Bolter and Sol Pappa, the impressive cast (Cynthia Nixon, Jennifer Ehle) and the excellent Belgian crew was a uniquely rewarding experience culminating in winning Best Feature at Film Fest Ghent in 2016.

His passing touches us on a personal and professional level. He will be missed but lives on through his films and the memories of so many.
