For the first time since 2019 we decided to bring back the outdoors, camping site, homemade meals, custom designed stages and most of all the forest! Don't miss out on our return to the woods of Zottegem, European capital of post-rock music.

Please take your time when browsing through the ticket shop and have a look at the nice things we're offering in combination with your ticket.

In the first stage of the ticket shop you can select your ticket. You can choose to buy a 1-day ticket or a combi ticket for the whole experience. Please be aware that if you want to camp at the festival, you will need a camping ticket to access the camping area. One camping ticket is valid for one person. Everyone staying at the camping area will require a camping ticket. Only glampers have their camping entrance included in the glamping booking. Please bring your own camping gear.

If you're in for some glamping you can choose our pre-built options in the first stage of the ticket check-out as well. We were able to find some very nice options for those who can't (or don't want to) bring a tent. Please be aware that these options are limited.

Kapi Tip-up is a sturdy tent with a wooden floor and frame. Available for two people. Comes with a portable lamp.
Kapihut is a tent with more volume and can house 2 or 4 people. This comes with a power plug and lights. This hut can be locked.
Festihut was offered in earlier years as well and is a wooden cabin with two bunk beds to house 4 people for the weekend.
All those options include beds, sheets and pillows. Check-in is open from Wednesday evening. Check-out on Sunday morning. There will be toilets and showers available on this part of the camping terrain.

The glamping options are only available for the entire duration of the festival and can't be booked for one night. Booking a Kapi Tip-up, Kapihut or Festihut does not include your entrance ticket to the festival. You need a combi-ticket to enter the festival. If you book a glamping option you don't need a camping ticket though.

ONRUST - 'VAN WOEDE TOT WANHOOP'

Heavy post-metal, sludge & post-rock uit Antwerpen.

Een donkere, doch gelaagde wall of sound, afgewisseld met ingetogen, cleane passages.

Van de verwrongen gezichten op de albumhoes tot songtitels als ‘Anhedonie’ en ‘Zelfdestructie’: wie aan deze plaat begint, hoeft geen vrolijke muziek te verwachten. Meer dan vijftig minuten lang stelt ONRUST de luisteraar bloot aan onmacht en afkeer. Afkeer van een wereld die steeds verder afglijdt in haat, egoïsme, verzuring en ongelijkheid.

"En net daarin schuilt een tragische ironie," legt zanger Ruben Podevyn uit. "Want wie voortdurend kritiek uit op alles rond zich heen, wordt bitter en zuur. En dus deel van het probleem."

Die tegenstelling vormt het kader van ‘Van Woede tot Wanhoop’: het verhaal van een protagonist gevangen in een innerlijke tweestrijd, die afglijdt in een spiraal van verontwaardiging, zelfhaat, karaktermoord en uiteindelijk totale afstomping.



De muziek weerspiegelt deze thematiek met gegeselde drums die de opborrelende razernij aanwakkeren. Massieve gitaren begraven de luisteraar onder gewapend beton, terwijl de bas onophoudelijk duwt en stuwt doorheen de 8 nummers.



En als het geweld even verstomt, nemen gelaagde, in elkaar verstrengelde gitaarlijnen het over. Een vals gevoel van rust. Geen reflectie of bezinning, maar een drukkende voorbode van een onafwendbare dreiging.

Met ‘Van Woede tot Wanhoop’ laat ONRUST een indrukwekkende artistieke groei zien, zonder hun DIY-ethos te verloochenen. “We geven pas iets uit handen als we zeker weten dat we het zelf niet beter kunnen,” aldus oprichter en gitarist Bo Engelen. Het resultaat: opnames, mixing en mastering gebeurden volledig in eigen beheer, waardoor elk detail de compromisloze visie en energie van de band draagt.

‘Van Woede tot Wanhoop’ is ONRUST in al zijn intensiteit. Verwacht geen makkelijke luisterervaring, maar wel één die blijft nazinderen.

‘Van Woede tot Wanhoop’ verschijnt op 17 oktober 2025 op alle digitale streamingplatformen en op vinyl in exclusieve kleurvarianten via Dunk!records. Het album wordt voorafgegaan door de nieuwe singles ‘Wanhoop’ – vanaf vandaag te beluisteren - en ‘Zelfdestructie’.

Ze zijn Zweeds, geschminkt en theatraal: Avatar! En ze zijn vooral terug met een Europese tour. Op donderdag 12 februari 2026 brengt de band hun ‘Metal Circus’ naar AB.

Sinds hun oprichting in 2001 in Göteborg veroverde Avatar de internationale metalscene met krachtige songs en een bijzonder, theatraal imago. Ze combineren strakke choreografieën met special effects en messcherpe gitaren. De charismatische frontman Johannes Eckerström groeide uit tot een cinematografisch personage, dat schippert tussen de Joker en The Crow.

Met albums als ‘Feathers & Flesh’ (2016), ‘Avatar Country’ (2018) en het meest recente ‘Dance Devil Dance’ (2023) blijven ze muzikale grenzen verleggen zonder hun rauwe energie te verliezen. Op het podium is Avatar een belevenis: riffs, agressie en extravagantie.

Verwacht je in Ancienne Belgique aan een concert tussen heavy metal, melodieuze death metal en groove metal dat liefhebbers van een zware sound zeker zal bekoren!

The Grammy-nominated rock band I Prevail announced their fourth studio album Violent Nature set for release September 19th via Fearless Records. They also released their third single off the record, “Rain” with an accompanying music video.

“Rain” is a powerful, emotionally charged track showcasing the band’s ability to balance heaviness with vulnerability. It feels both aggressive and cleansing as it explores the weight of suffering and the relief that comes with finally being set free from misery. It sets the tone for what’s to come in the new record: a collection of tracks that are darker, deeper, and more intense than ever.

Frontman Eric Vanlerberghe shared his thoughts on the new track below:
“Rain was one of the first songs we wrote for the record. As time went along and more songs started filling up the tracklist, it continued to be one of my favorite songs. Thematically, Rain deals with acceptance of things out of your control and finding clarity.”

Just last month, the band released the steadfast anthem “Into Hell,” following the release of their heaviest track to date, “Violent Nature,” the month prior. Both releases marked a major turning point for the band as they ushered in a new chapter with Vanlerberghe as the only lead singer.

The entire record was produced by the band’s bass player Jon Eberhard, and it boasts a total of ten hard-hitting tracks you can find below.

I Prevail is no stranger to pushing boundaries. This group has found great success with previous records over the past decade including their first album Lifelines that achieved gold status in both the US and Canada. 2019’s TRAUMA repeated that accomplishment in Canada just a few years later and was nominated for Best Rock Album at that year’s Grammys, with their single “Bow Down” also a contender for Best Metal Performance. 2022’s TRUE POWER saw the band continue to forge their own musical path, refusing to conform to the expectations of the genre, and instead demonstrating just how much of a tour de force I Prevail’s music is.

Mooie woorden en zalige vooruitzichten uit het kamp van Loud Noise Productions:

Dynamo Metalfest - Into The Void - ...

'Eindhoven, de gekste? Iedereen die samen met ons het 10-jarig jubileum van Dynamo Metalfest heeft gevierd, kan dat zeker beamen. Van de fenomenale opening van Nailbomb tot de spectaculaire afsluiting van Gojira: wat hebben wij met jullie genoten! Ons festivalseizoen is nu zo goed als voorbij, maar niet voordat wij 27 september Leeuwarden een flinke dosis doom, sludge en stoner bezorgen tijdens Into the Void!

Daarbij blijven wij druk bezig met vette shows neerzetten. Zo zie je deze maand Wolfheart, Dark Tranquillity en W.A.S.P., maar kijken we ook uit naar oktober met o.a. Decapitated en Ashes of Ares, die The Dark Saga in zijn volledigheid zal spelen.

Dynamo Metalfest is pas net voorbij en wij kijken al erg uit naar de editie van volgend jaar! Met de eerste namen die wij onlangs bekend maakten is dat ook helemaal niet gek. We trapten direct af met vier headliners. Namelijk: Helloween die hun 40-jarig bestaan viert met een speciale set van maar liefst twee uur. Maar ook 3 legendarische bands die het geluid van de vroege 00’s hebben gevormd: In Flames, Lamb of God en Godsmack!

Maak je klaar voor thrash in zijn puurste vorm. Want ook Testament, Overkill, Death Angel en Destruction zie je volgend jaar op Dynamo Metalfest. En tot slot het nieuwe vuur: URNE en 200 Stab Wounds.'

Coming straight from the deep jungles of Brazil to the arid expanses of Arizona, extreme metal trailblazers Soulfly will deliver their tribally fueled thirteenth album CHAMA on October 24th 2025 via Nuclear Blast.

Soulfly offer fans a taste from the album in the form of the first single, ''Storm The Gates'. A battle cry against control and greed.

Max Cavalera comments: Chama is the Brazilian word for flame. It also means a 'calling'. Chama is inspired by the energy of this moment.

Zyon Cavalera states, “With each Soulfly record I’ve played on, I can feel my evolution happening in real time. This record was no different as I got to handle a good amount of the production for the first time. Trying to take the band to places we have never been before was a blast and I look forward to more production work in the future!”

De Belgische donkere atmosferische groove rockband BÈTA presenteert hun nieuwe single “Broken”, een gedurfde stap voorwaarts in hun muzikale reis. Het nummer combineert rauwe zang, dynamische ritmische verschuivingen en een fel samenspel van melodieuze en riffgedreven gitaren, waardoor een krachtige mix van grunge, alternatieve metal, nu-metal en stonerrock ontstaat.
