A month ago, Denis Tassenoy, our Head of 3D, visited the ARTFX Lille campus and safe to say the next wave of VFX talent is in good hands! 🎓

The day included screenings of student short films, exchanges with production students, and a workshop built around real shots from our own projects. A chance to go behind the scenes, break down our technical and artistic choices, and have honest conversations about what VFX production actually looks like.

Days like this are a good reminder of why it’s worth stepping outside the studio once in a while, to share what we know, and come back with fresh energy 😍✨

One year (and a month) since LAST BULLET (B***e Perdue 3) dropped, and we’re still not over it 🔥 Three films, three challenges, one wild ride.

We had the chance to work on the full trilogy, each installment pushed our team to go harder, get sharper, and level up the craft. VFX is never just technical: it’s storytelling, and this saga gave us so much to work with.

Last week, we said goodbye to Mirco after several months with the studio 👋🏼 And when multiple team members independently highlight the same qualities, you know there’s something worth mentioning:

Mirco is sharp, adaptable, curious, and quick to understand the challenges he’s given. He integrated seamlessly into the team, tackled every task with professionalism and good humour, and quickly became someone we could rely on.

Beyond his skills, he’s simply a great person to work with: positive, proactive, and always willing to lend a hand. All in all, a fantastic internship and an even better teammate 💪🏼

Le Festival de Cannes wraps tomorrow, and it feels too soon 🌴🎞️

Directed by Bretten Hannam, this Indigenous supernatural thriller follows estranged Mi’kmaq brothers Mise’l and Antle, who reunite to confront a malevolent, time-bending spirit of bones and rot deep within an ancient forest, while facing buried childhood trauma and ancestral secrets 🤫✨

🌟 The film has already made waves on the festival circuit, including being recognized as one of the 10 best Canadian films of 2025 at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). It also took home 3 awards at the Atlantic International Film Festival

For the opening credits of L'ECOLE DE DANSE, the film directed by Julien Condemine and adapted from the stage production by Clément Hervieux-Léger, we imagined and created an original animation conceived as a true cinematic opening 🩰🎞️
