In 1963, the Baker family moved into a home in Folcroft, a small, overwhelmingly white suburb outside Philadelphia.
They were one of the first Black families to move into the neighborhood.
What followed was not quiet disapproval - it was open hostility.
Crowds gathered. Neighbors protested. Threats were made. The Bakers faced harassment simply for purchasing a home. Law enforcement presence became necessary as tensions escalated. Their move exposed what suburban "stability" often depended on in the 1960s: racial exclusion.

This was the era between Brown v. Board of Education and the Fair Housing Act - a time when housing discrimination was still legal in many forms, and when white resistance to integration frequently showed up not just in policy, but in mobs.
The Bakers weren't breaking laws.
They were breaking a color line.
Their story is a reminder that suburban segregation didn't happen by accident. It was defended loudly.
And families like the Bakers paid the price just to claim what should have already been theirs: a home.

His journey begins far from Belgium, in Green Town, Kumba, where young Enoh first discovered the magic of music.

From forming The X-Rays in 2007 to producing local hits like “Kpo Kpo Fit Mic Monsta Official,” “I Di Yan,” and “Ndolo,” his talent was undeniable. But life in the diaspora is reshaping everything! turning music from a dream into a test of resilience.
